I have learned to my horror that many people refuse to admit they are wrong no matter the consequences to others. I find these people profoundly repellent.

Susan T's avatar

I don't think that people who do horrible things to other people really understand themselves or the other people. I think they are sick and need help or confinement of some sort if they cannot be stopped. The people who commit these acts are repellent, but the people who allow them to commit the acts are equally repellent.

I think that your first two sentences can be an apt description of most soldiers who close their eyes and minds to the dirty work that they do in the name of patriotism and Jesus and the glorious empire. In this context, I think that empires will always have their Israels, and the powerful will always find willing soldiers if the price is right.

What the white man has normalized and paraded as virtue and peace keeping is a comforting mythology so the self loathing masses can feel justified in hating their designated enemies. The hate is the ether that pervades the planet, and makes peace illusory.

Zionism and the hatred that it always engenders is the creed that must be recognized as the enemy of fairness and equality, and the precursor to perpetual wars and violence.

CK's avatar

“…the powerful will always find willing soldiers if the price is right.”

Most soldiers don’t have a very high price. Many are indoctrinated to believe in some righteous cause.

unwarranted's avatar

Absolutely 100%. The mind is the locus of hate and the fertile ground of love. When young minds are flooded with false messaging, they are ripe for manipulation.

CK's avatar

Michael's avatar

I don’t think it’s productive to blame ‘the white man’ for normalizing evil nor is it meaningful (exactly what is a ‘white man’). Tyranny comes in all colors. White vs brown arguments are a ruse to keep the peasants fighting. Soldiers are victims of propaganda also and are mostly weak minded. They want young soldiers because they are literally weak minded as their brains are not fully developed & can be molded toward violence much more easily.

unwarranted's avatar

If you examine my wording, I was describing the colonial mentality that is the province of white, European powers. Racism is undeniably a human failing, but Zionism and the institutionalization of self-serving societal hierarchies, and the normalizing propaganda that accompanies them are western features of power. In military dictatorships, the manifest force of weapons are how injustice is meted. In western democracies, the bamboozled are the mass that becomes the foundation of brutality.

Cornelia HEMMELDER's avatar

This "colornaming" of people really should be outdated. Everybody should know that a skincolor does not think. We are all the same human beings and what matters is our brain.

Many people are wounded, many are damaged and some are mentally ill. When you get a society, culture and State which is severely mentally ill and contained in a cult environment, you get the most depraved human behaviour. Israelis cannot be reasoned with, they must be stopped and their State totally dismantled.

Chang Chokaski's avatar

You do understand that the U.S. (including its cronies like Israel and other Western nations) have 'nuclear weapons' right?

Breakup Google's avatar

I was talking about the followers wearing hats or dying their hair, spewing nonsense constantly and refusing to see any form of truth. For the record I am on neither side of the uniparty and want it gone. As for Israel, we need massive change here in the US and purging all zionist influence before we can deal with those nukes. That will take years of careful dissecting to get control of. Cant do it while zionism is infecting the west.

Chang Chokaski's avatar

>>"I was talking about the followers wearing hats or dying their hair, spewing nonsense constantly and refusing to see any form of truth."

Fair enough.

>>"...we need massive change here in the US and purging all zionist influence..."

This is where I see limited foresight in the thinking/understanding of most people - that they think that the U.S. can actually/realistically be PURGED of Zionist influence. We still have an incredible amount of Nazi influence (white supremacy, etc.) that may have gone underground for a period of time but doesn't seem to have receeded any (and in fact may be on the rise).

More that such Zionist/Nazi/etc. influences, the root cause behind such 'fascist ideologies' goes deeper into the American psyche. Hence, even if in some hypothetical reality one were able to eradicate Zionism from the U.S., it is likely that it would be replaced by some other 'such ideologies'. Please don't misinterpret my comment to mean anything along the lines of 'eradicating Zionism in the West should not be attempted' - as that is still a worthwhile cause - though I doubt that that will provide 'a workable solution' to the issues the U.S. is plagued with.

martin's avatar

i agree with mr chokaski that eradicating zionism will not solve the problem of american fascism (nazism), or ‘americanism’ (deeper in the american psyche) if you will. nevertheless i also agree this is still a commendable undertaking (keeping in mind the ‘americanism’ this would probably result in the eradication of all jews – it’s just in their nature, being the arch-fascists).

Chang Chokaski's avatar

>>"I have learned to my horror that many people refuse to admit they are wrong no matter the consequences to others."

Good on you for learning that. Maybe you might also stumble upon the realization that 'this has always been so' for ALMOST as long as human history has existed.

Is there a SOLUTION to such fundamental flaws of human existence? If not, are we (as a species) doomed (in the long run or maybe even the short)?

Real antisemitism is already on the rise because of what Netanyahu is doing. I think the USA is equally responsible, but I don't think they are more responsible. Only greedy, uncaring, sick, twisted people like Netanyahu and his cronies could do what they are doing to the Palestinian people. And only greedy, uncaring sick twisted people like Trump could support someone like Netanyahu. I wish the dynamics that create this twisted thinking could be figured out so that we could medicate them, imprison them, do whatever it takes to stop them.

Uaifo Ojo - DJ Sãvånt™'s avatar

Or Guillotine them preferably as there's no cure in the known and unknown universe for sickness and evil this depraved... Only complete eradication is the viable option here

Susan T's avatar

The problem with such revenge is that anyone who does the eradicating risks losing part of or all of their own humanity. We have to come up with something better. I don't like medication, but for these people, it might help the rest of us.

Madame Guillotine would be my choice - it gives one the time to if not understand that what the did is so repulsive, but to realise that is why they are being removed from continuing such evil on innocent people just because you thought you could. I agree with you, but for me, it is getting more and more difficult to watch these videos and to realize that so many humans are so.......so.......I really do not know how to describe them. There are no animals that I can think of that are as bad so maybe some humans are genetically deformed and need to just be kept away from the world until they die a natural death. I just cannot get to a place where I think it is OK to start killing people or even animals. I don't even like killing bugs.

Recently ordered two Israeli flags. It was amazing the low price and Free Shipping! Then mail came to help elderly Jews who need food. I called the number to donate and spoke to a "donation representative". I mentioned the forced starving in Gaza and other things and asked how she could sleep when children are being starved, bombed, or shot in the head waiting for food or water. She Then replied "I can't stand it". I wished her well finding another job. Then bought red paint ! I wish the flags had a Swastica on them. There are people in this world who are still thinking that Muslim guys with box cutters highjacked 2 plains and downed 3 towers in NYC, and part of the Pentagon. 24 focking years after this scam, and many reports, and the retarded are still refusing to see they were fooled.

smokygirl2006's avatar

And unfortunately some of those people who believe that are people very dear to me such as family members.😢☮️🇵🇸

Jim's avatar

People always question me as to why I remain so steadfast about revealing the fraud of 9/11. Quite simply, the evidence is easily digestible and the subsequent questions raised strike at the core of the corruption engulfing the world. Even my opinionated Fox News addicted father was speechless when I showed him WTC 7 being imploded.

mois78's avatar

Only last week I asked a friend in his 70s (who is constantly reading books) about tower 7? He said WHAT TOWER 7? Here I have bulging veins for 24 focking years about T-7, and this human who is breathing our air NEVER HEARD OF TOWER 7. These people in reality are not stupid, but, they refuse to think that the government / the media are EVIL.

Chang Chokaski's avatar

There are some people in this world (thankfully a minority) that still believe the stupid 'conspiracy theories' about 9/11 that you believe, mois78 (and many of them gather on online spaces like substack, message boards, etc.).

Anonymous quote -> "You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."

Some 'human conditions' are hopeless - like Zionism, Nazism, etc. The condition of 'stupid conspiratorial thinking' (which is DIFFERENT from 'skeptical thinking') may belong to such a category.

Jim's avatar

Come on Chang. Questioning sacred cows like 9/11 are the very definition of skeptical thinking. What do you think happened to WTC 7, besides it being an obvious demolition?

Chang Chokaski's avatar

Distinguishing between real conspiracies and conspiracy theories ->

Real conspiracies do exist. Volkswagen conspired to cheat emissions tests for their diesel engines. The U.S. National Security Agency secretly spied on civilian internet users. The tobacco industry deceived the public about the harmful health effects of smoking. We know about these conspiracies through internal industry documents, government investigations, or whistleblowers.

Conspiracy theories, by contrast, tend to persist for a long time even when there is no decisive evidence for them. Those conspiracy theories are based on a variety of thinking patterns that are known to be unreliable tools for tracking reality. Typically, conspiracy theories are not supported by evidence that withstands scrutiny but this doesn’t stop them from blossoming. (Two examples of prominent and VERY popular such theories -> the widespread belief that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were an “inside job” has persisted for many years after the event. Decades after the fact, a vast majority of Americans believe that the government covered up the truth about the JFK assassination.)

Actual conspiracies do exist, but they are rarely discovered through the methods of conspiracy theorists. Rather, real conspiracies get discovered through conventional thinking—healthy skepticism of official accounts while carefully considering available evidence and being committed to internal consistency. In contrast, conspiratorial thinking is characterized by being hyperskeptical of all information that does not fit the theory, over-interpreting evidence that supports a preferred theory, and inconsistency.

Also, it is important to keep in mind that 'conspiratorial thinking' (or conspiracism) is NOT about LEFT/RIGHT, ideologies, political biases, etc. Conspiracism affects ALL HUMANS (regardless of where in the world they live and regardless of what period in human history they lived). I TOO am susceptible to the effects of 'conspiratorial thinking' and have to make a 'conscious effort' to continuously question the 'logic/process' of reaching conclusions of my analyses, including any beliefs that I may hold that might 'pollute' my thinking (and all humans have such beliefs).

Jim's avatar

Again, what do you think happened to WTC 7? Do you know what WTC 7 is? We’ll have to agree to disagree on the 9/11 conspiracy, but I did study the subject intensively for 5 years. I did not study it because of some irrational internal bias. I believed the entire government narrative for 7 years. In fact, I knew absolutely nothing about the 9/11 truth movement when I happened across David Ray Griffin’s The New Pearl Harbor in a bookstore, which, after reading, created such a cognitive dissonance that I read everything that I could find on the subject. It seemed too over-the-top to have any legitimacy whatsoever. My worldview was changed not because of some cognitive deficiency, but through thorough and continuous research.

Chang Chokaski's avatar

I think people confuse 'conspiratorial thinking' with 'skeptical thinking - which is based on the fundamentals of critical thinking'.

To be an accomplished 'skeptical thinker', one needs solid skills in logic, basic skills in statistics and probability, and a deep understanding of human psychological/mental flaws (like biases, fallacies, heuristics, cognitive errors, etc.). Many of these 'flaws' are NOT REALLY outright flaws, but rather remnants of 'human evolution' based on the changing environments that humans have had to survive over hundreds-of-thousands of years.

If nothing else, I recommend reading this book as a starting point - "Conspiracy: Why the Rational Believe the Irrational" (though there are better/more advanced books on the subject). (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/61857147)

I also recommend reading 'Part II' of the book, which is about "How to Determine Which Conspiracy Theories Are Real" for further insights.

If you're willing, after reading the book (as a starting point), it would be more productive/worthwhile to enage in a discussion on the subject.

[PS: PM me if you'd like a free ebook version of the book]

Jim's avatar

Either one. Dr. Griffin has written 11 books on various aspects of 9/11, and all are excellent.

Most of what people of the world know, or think they know, about Jews and Israel is based upon Zionist propaganda and outright BS.

Sand, Finkelstien and numerous rabbis who are legitimate Jews have attempted to call attention to the lies and nonsense, but get little or no coverage in the Zionist-owned mass media.

Throughout his political career, Joe Biden publicly proclaimed himself to be a Zionist. We don’t know if Biden had the mental capacity to understand what that actually meant. Perhaps he did; perhaps not. Kamelon Harris has gone along with the Zionist ride as do many members of the US Congress.

Sand’s research reveals that most, if not all, inhabitants of modern Israel are not descended from the Jews mentioned in the Bible and are thusly not entitled to any “promised” land. Indeed, most of the Jews of the entire world are not descended from those who are mentioned in the Bible.

Modern Israel— Eretz Israel— is a Zionist construct of the British Empire, supported by the American Empire for fun and profits.

Yes, Caitlin, and people who vote for candidates who support genocide by voting for funding, giving Israel protection in the UN and shaming and punishing protesters are also “bad people.” Because, as you say, genocide is not just another issue, like marijuana legalization, or even say, reproductive freedom. It is the moral test of our time. So, all those voters who vote for politicians who support genocide, because the “other” option may be worse, are complicit in evil. It’s our responsibility to create another option. And too many people don’t care enough. Here in the U.S. most Democrats will vote for whomever the DNC supports, including in the primaries when we sometimes have a chance to vote for candidates who oppose genocide and other illegal wars.

E J Hermann's avatar

What else can one expect from the Uniparty? It's the not getting that there is the Uniparty, that is the big problem.

Nancy's avatar

We get it. The question is, what to do about it? We have tried supporting third parties and candidates. I voted “uncommitted” in the last election. A lot of people didn’t vote. The problem is, the politicians decide our fate. One example, we did not end the Vietnam War with our protests, although they were important. What ended the war was the vote in Congress to cut off the funding. In the US, the Supreme Court has instituted a system of bribery in our electoral system. The donors rule. Without a huge groundswell in the U.S. in opposition to the genocide, things will not change. Unfortunately, we obviously don’t have that. It’s easier to conform than to resist, even if it means embracing evil. I think we can start by calling people out, not just the politicians, but the voters. Maybe shaming will work, since persuasion hasn’t. Your call.

Mostly, I avoid other MDs, and don't need any medicines, myself. We are all in that boat.

I have more time since I was fired in October 2021 for "vaccine refusal", on the moral grounds of "standing naked with the Jews" or "unvaccinated" untermenschen, as the case happened to be that month.

I, myself, had been awkward for my clinic, though I had spearheaded COVID testing and treatment from January of 2020. The official narrative diverged, as you recall, but I had given away 40,000 doses of 5000IU vitamin D3 at my own expense to coworkers and patients, and had treated with Dr. Zev Zelenko's protocol (HCQ, Zn, azithro, D3) until I was expressly forbidden in August 2020, and switched to Dr. Borody's new protocol with ivermectin, Zn, doxycycline and D, which worked splendidly from the first married couple, sick for a week, husband droppong O2 sats, who I treated.

I almost cried the next morning when the RN met me as I came in from my bike commute, to tell me they both felt better.

It woudl be good if payback could be swift and merciless without also dehumanizing us. We are all caught.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

And there's a damned good reason, Susan, and I speak only for myself, living in a country whose right to assert anything even hinting of humanity is so bogus as to need constant challenge and hope for punishment, despite knowledge of that punishment's likely pain to myself. Yeah I'm willing to take my ass-kicking just to see the US take its own, so I'm not being Pollyanna here.

Twelve generations of completely inhumane [actually inhuman] treatment of African Americans. And consider this: US presidents like Andrew Jackson, lauded for various incomprehensible reasons by historians (not Zinn, of course), bridled his horse with bridles made from Native American skin. I have no boundaries on my detestation of these assholes and my country, and no desire to limit the payback.

If it appears to dehumanize me, I hardly give a shit. My being is closer to that of the 500 year-old Junipers on my desert trails, the Ponderosa Pine and Aspens up the mountain than to most other "humans". I freely surrender those bits of my "humanity" and cleave to my true natural partners. And with a few notable exceptions, they fail to be members of Homo sapiens.

Susan T's avatar

I get what you are saying. I have been through some very difficult times where I was physically and emotionally abused. I have spent many years working to understand my abuser. But that was just one abuser. When the abuse is coming from an entire group of so called humans, that is a different thing to deal with. I don't really know how to deal with that. Your way sounds reasonable from where you are sitting and even, to an extent, from where I am sitting. It is just that I don't want that in my life. But, as you point out, it is there.

martin's avatar

if it doesn't turn you communist, it's probably not that bad.

jamenta's avatar

Most countries do quite a lot about murder. Various laws and judicial systems condemn murder quite a bit. Most religions also condemn murder.

I think part of the problem with Israel has been the propaganda - the narrative spin and control so many people have been gullible enough to believe.

Also Fear is now being used increasingly by Western authoritarian governments, to suppress natural dissent to mass murder - such as students being kicked out of major universities, dissenters being locked up or even disappeared. Peaceful protests are subject to tear gassing, rubber bullets attacks, and brute force arrests.

The billionaire/corporate controlled Western mass media also complicit in the genocide, such as the BBC - spreading daily propaganda and pedaling Israel as a victim nation. There have been mass protests against the genocide in many other countries, but ordinary Americans and Brits are rarely aware of the mass protests taking place.

The International Court also condemned the genocide in legal international terms, but much like the U.N. has been unable to enforce their judgement because of primarily the corruption and collusion of the US government with the genocide.

It can be a very hard decision for someone who is struggling to maintain a family and a roof over their head in the US, to risk it all to attend a protest where they could very well be arrested, and/or fired from their workplace because of being labeled with an anti-semitic smear or worse.

I think most human beings do share a common moral compass: i.e. most human beings do have a sense of compassion for other human beings, and realize to some degree the beauty of life and the preciousness of their fleeting humanity. The Judicial systems that spring up in every civilization. The religions that spontaneously emerge all over the world in every human epoch. The endless stories of heroes sacrificing themselves out of a sense of compassion for other people. The fact even that love exists in the human race, and often does motivate human beings to achieve some remarkable things.

Countries do quite a lot about murder. Unless you are waving the right kind of flag, or are important and powerful.

Then they don't.

You put into words how everyone in the. UK feels about our government supporting the murder of innocent thousands by an evil state

Daniella Weiss was on Piers Morgan and this grandmotherly looking woman was so full of hatred for Arabs and entitlement to whatever land Zionists want, she couldn’t bring herself to express one word of sympathy for dead Palestinian children. She used as her reasoning that God gave the Jews Israel (she could barely say Palestine) and not one inch belonged to anyone else. There is no atrocity she wouldn’t support. There was some actor in an interview begging for a ceasefire “because the war was going to destroy Israel’s image.” Even IDF soldiers reporting they’re told to shoot Palestinians in cold blood who are lined up for food has no effect on Zionist supporters.

These true believers have no real connection to anyone other than members of their tribe and their interactions with us may be superficially pleasant but their loyalty is to Zionism. They use a 2,500 year old religious text as a shield to steal and murder.

She's that woman who 'starred' in the movie "The Settlers." Chillingly psychopathic, and she says that it's normal.

SW, you and Daniella Weiss, fail to understand the most basic of all human character traits:

The truth must always be kept well hidden.

That is my perspective from earning a degrees in the "Classics" and the law and being a civil practice trial lawyer for over 35 years, with having worked as an attorney for two years U. S. Attorney's office in San Francisco and with having my own law office employing fellow attorneys.

For a start you might consider reading:

>>"The truth must always be kept well hidden."

Incorrect. The TRUTH (like everything else) is used and abused by those in power (TPTB, power elite, etc.) to accomplish their agendas.

Often TRUTH aids in the agendas of TPTB, often it doesn't. Might I suggest that instead of focusing on the 'black-and-white' application of TRUTH, to rather focus on POWER and how 'truth is used' by those in power to maintain the status quo?

Zionist mass murderers have been staging fake antisemitic incidents since the 1940s and 1950s, when they bombed and torched synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses in Iraq, Morocco and Egypt. The European Ashkenazi Jews needed an underclass of non-white Jews to do the dirty jobs in Israeli society, so they carried out false flag terrorist campaigns to scare Jews in those countries into emigrating to Israel. Even though actual serious antisemitism only existed in Europe and the US.

There was also the demographic issues, for the democracy façade, don't you know.

Caitlin- yet another excellent and accurate analysis! Could not agree with you more. I have the same opinions of these people whether they are ordinary folk in the street, on social media, politicians, and most certainly the majority of israeli/zionist society in israel. Unhinged, deluded, psychopathic sociopathic, no morals or human values at all, and sheer evil loving. Now I know what the "synagogue of Satan" phrase means. With respect to true Torah Jews that are opposed to israel/zionism, occupation.

Can we now call them Sub-Human or even Animals ( as Gallant, Hetzhog and others have called Palestinians)?

I say the noble Palestinians have done humanity a great service. How?

1. They have held a mirror to Western so called civilised societies, and exposed their inner racist/colonial characters. The flaws in their words and action, their so called principles of law and freedoms, to reveal their evil inner selves, and their lust for power/money through mass murder/genocide.

2. The Palestinians have proven what Humanity, Human Values, Patience, Belief in God, Resilience, Resistance, Charity, and self determination is all about. Even when you have nothing, you have everything. Everything is these human values that bind us all together.

3. They have shown what Justice and Freedom look like and what it's like when these are taken away from you by force.

4. They have proven to us that material possessions mean nothing, hey don't make you a better person. Greed is a disease. Power lust is a disease. Pure humanity means to be able to live in happiness with little possessions, with respect and support of your fellow humans no matter who they are, and with dignity and honour.

I hope I and the rest of us can learn some lessons from the Palestinians about what it is to be human, InshAllah (God willing, with God's guidance)

Free Palestine. Long live Palestine.

Agree Rauf, but please let’s not call them animals. Other-than-humans do not murder for pleasure.

Parasites or incubus (probably more for the IOF)😉
