What Robert Kraft has done is enrage the entire music industry. "Shut up and play" is not a defensible position in the time of atrocity. I'm old enough to remember when the entire music industry refused to play in apartheid South Africa and "I ain't gonna play Sun City" became the rallying cry. Well "We ain't gonna play in NFL stadiums" needs to be the rallying cry if their owners have the power to kick people off tours for saying things they don't like.

Exactly. #BoycottNFLStadiums #BoycottNewEnglandPatriots Hit Kraft in his pocketbook until it hurts.

Assange is free. The threat to journalism is not.

Technically, his plea created no binding judicial precedent. But the United States still demonstrated that it can charge a foreign publisher under the Espionage Act, keep him imprisoned for five years while fighting extradition, and end the case only after he pleads guilty to obtaining and disclosing national-defense information.

The courtroom precedent was avoided. The warning to every national-security journalist was delivered anyway.

The US govt. has proved it can wage war on anyone it likes whenever it feels like it and the people have no say in this. They can spy on anyone they want, they can ban whatever speech they don't like, kill and torture anyone, etc.

But look on the bright side. They never quarter troops in your home against your will. We still have that right.

I guess if one tries, you can find the bright side for about anything. I'm working on it!

I no longer have the patience to engage with people defending things like genocide. If someone is emotionally hanging on to something like that they aren't going to change their mind no matter what. I just state my position and break off contact. I only do that to be read by and influence third parties.

I believe I read that a family of Gazans died recently because they took shelter for sleep in an unstable structure and were crushed to death when it collapsed. I trust that in the Zionist mentality there's no blaming Israel for murder-delayed. Unless we also blame Hamas for provoking them into bombing that building in the first place.

We are blessed to have Julian's voice back.

If the Israelis had known years ago that they could talk people who oppose the genocide to death, they could have used the same tactic to murder the Palestinians in Gaza. If they had been able to do that, the genocide would no doubt already have been completed.

STFU, you murdering Zionist psychopaths! Your words are dust and your souls are an utter wasteland.

In addition to these important views, it’s also important to remember that “Free Palestine”, could have been shouted on October 6th, or in fact ten, or fifty, or eighty years ago. “Free Palestine” is as basic as Vive la France, or God Bless America. It’s not against anything but oppression.

Tell it like it is, Caitlin! I don't know what we would do without you. Truly. Thank you so much,

Hooray for the return of Julian Assange!

Boo hiss for the online genocide-deniers who can't even come up with a convoluted explanation to cover up for their bloodthirsty inclinations. They are becoming tiresome, aren't they? I just automatically block them nowadays. It's not worth wasting time nor keystrokes on them. F'em all!

Unfortunately, lying is a natural fact. All superstructures—including the judicial system, the media, and religion, and consequently our modes of perception and thought—depend on the economic structure controlled by the Jewish lobby. And the economic structure depends on money. Change the control and use of money, and you will change everything else.

What sort of self-imposed bubble do you have to be living in to not see the immense suffering of and genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza perpetrated by Israel with the full support and assistance of the USA?

Even with the targeted murder of well over 200 journalists the truth is in front of our eyes. The remaining journalists and eye witnesses are among the bravest people on the planet.

Around our house, our equivalent is "Leonard Peltier is out now." Granted, he's on "home confinement," not really free – but at least he's back on the res with his family and not in prison. One of the few semi-decent things Biden (or, probably, his staff) managed to do in four years...
