No nation has a right to exist. Often a group seizes territory by force of arms then keeps it the same way. Israel is a perfect example of this, as is the much larger USA.
Either that or their territory has so little desirability that it isn't necessary to defend it. Think Iceland.
We can't go back in time, and prevent the racist Genocides conducted in the Americas, against the First Nations... And of course, at that time, there was no binding international instrument - like the UN's Genocide Convention - to be enforced upon its signatories.
But now there is. And the entire "Collective West", and the Zionist Abomination, are all signatories. So all that's needed is to acknowledge what's clearly occuring - and then hold the perpetrators to account, on those Crimes of "Universal Jurisdiction". The US-centered Empire, and their Zionist Outpost, are ALL subject to the same kinds of enforcement actions, once reserved for the Pirates, of another age.

In case anyone missed it, journalist Sam Husseini was also physically dragged out of the State Dept briefing room last week for attempting to ask Blinken questions that they had been systematically avoiding all year.
He was a "Copy-writer" for advertising and a brilliant author, "Bovril Kids and Bisto Kids", Road to Wigan Pier, Down the Mine etc. and was employed by the socialist Labour party to write Propaganda for their movement (and the war).
To do this successfully he had to be allowed behind the scenes and 'front' of the party and to understand the real motives and methods of the movement. He studied Bernays, Kalergi, Sanger, Trotsky et al. to be able to implement the program that was being developed to control the 'Plebs'.
What he did in Animal Farm and 1984 was expose the already outlined and being developed plans and methods that were/are used to implement a world-wide autocracy under a socialist dictator.
I think that few folks listened because it was so bleak and preposterous that no one would even think it would be allowed to happen.
Writers like Orwell and other philosophers from around the world, were clearly inspired minds who often seemed to be out of their minds, instead of being keenly plugged into the universal consciousness. Some were even imprisoned, their writings hidden or burned, as we see happening today.
Our Ancients Ancestors were taught by the elders, who during those times seemed to be prophets who warned of the coming events, events so far in the future that folks could barely fathom them.
What is most interesting to me, is to be old enough to have heard & read their words and live to see them come true. So many things that people appear to be “waking” up to is old news to me, for example.
What is unfortunate is that history is being re-written, the old books are being censored (burned), more and more are relying on AI for their information, libraries are closing, words are being redefined, that before long what was once known will be lost, save those few who held on to them in their personal libraries.

In which case, it's time to look to another prescient book, "Fahrenheit 451," by Ray Bradbury. He knew we needed to save the books through the only way that could work, memory. Each one, (read one) teach one.
Absolutely. We have to be very pro-active in doing all we can to preserve our ability to remember. There are so many toxins in our environment that alter brain function from vaccines & pharmaceuticals to the food, air and water we consume. Big Pharma, Big Food & Big Agri are in lock-step making it harder and harder for us to be critical/independent "thinkers". We have so many gadgets that keep us from forming new wrinkles in our brain. Then on top of that, we have emotional traumas that impact on our ability to remember. It's a battle for our brain emptying it out and freeing it up for them to pour into it what "they" the overlords want us to think and remember.

“War can be used to arouse human passion and patriotic feelings of loyalty to the nation’s leaders. No amount of sacrifice in the name of victory will be rejected. Resistance is viewed as treason. No government has long survived without enemies and armed conflict. War, therefore, has been an indispensable condition for “stabilising society.”
The organisation of society for the possibility of war is its principal political stabiliser…. It has enabled societies to maintain necessary class distinctions, and it has insured the subordination of the citizens to the state by virtue of the residual war powers inherent in the concept of nationhood.”
If my country was taken and just given to another group I would definitely resist. Anyone who denies that Israel was stolen from the Arab people who were living there peacefully must be lying to themselves. They then turn around and accuse the resisters of being terrorists. It could just as easily be you or me. It seems that the countries promoting Israel's terror are the first to condemn people for their righteous reaction to the theft. How do these people sleep at night?
They sleep at night by claiming that "God gave it to us, to them, or to whomever we wish to support." Don't you find it fascinating to listen to those living on stolen land, to now be saying they acknowledge and honor those whose land they stole, while they are still living on that land? This is the face of the USA, of Canada, of Australia, among the masters of stealing land from indigenous peoples. "Two-faced" doesn't come close to describing what passes for liberalism in the so-called Western Democracies.
I have frequently made this analogy. Since my state of Michigan borders Canada, I wonder what my fellow residents would think if Canadian hordes came across and seized half our state, telling us, No worries! You get to keep the other half!
Well, you know the rest of the story. No one comes to our aid, the Canadians are ethnic cleansing and committing acts of terror against us, and end up seizing the entire state.
To any Canadian friends, this is of course a mere analogy.
No offense taken. Actually I made a comment last week to the effect that if your government tried to take over Canada not only would a lot of us fight this but the free thinking people in the States would also defend us. At any rate I don't think it wil come to this.
I laughed my head off when Trump declared that he wanted to make Canada “the 51st State”. I thought, what the fuck, Canada doesn’t even get to keep its Provinces? 😂
Trump may yet accomplish a lot of good things. Obviously geography isn't one of his strong points. Personally, I would like to see Western Canada leave the Federation and become its own entity. Ontario and Quebec have sucked the West dry for far too many years. I'd like to see how long their "Green Agenda" would survive without our farming, mining, oil and gas which they claim to despise while stealing billions in "equalization" payments from us. Talk about dysfunctional. Quebec actually blocks pipelines from Alberta into their Province while importing oil from Saudi Arabia. They don't deserve us!
I’m afraid I don’t know a great deal about Canadian internal policies, but what I do know is that central Canada is your nation’s breadbasket, much like our Midwest states here.
The information concerning Quebec saddens me, as I am half Quebecois.
The Green extremists control both Quebec and British Columbia. Outside of Vancouver Island and what is called the Lower Mainland the country is steadfastly Conservative in thinking. Unfortunately they control the electoral vote through seats in the Provincial Legislature. (similar to your Congress). It has always been apparent that the denser population centres control policy. Also it is obvious that city dwellers are oblivious to the realities of life. Their food comes neatly packaged and everything is conveniently at their fingertips. They have no concept of doing for themselves as we rural people do. Hunting and fishing for food are part of our culture. Burning wood to keep warm is sometimes a necessity due to power failures during storms or other things mother nature throws at us. Where I am bears and wolves are all to common while most of them have probably never seen a wolf or a grizzly bear in the wild. These are the people who think that the outdoors is like Disney's Bambi. By their rationale we shouldn't have firearms as they are only good for killing innocent animals as well as for criminals to use the to kill them. Therefore, all firearms should be confiscated. Their ignorance, coupled with their arrogance does not let them even look outside of their extremely narrow view of real life. Federally, the same goes for the East (Ontario and Quebec) population dense areas that dictate how we should live out here. All people out here want is the right to earn a living and to live our lives as we always have which is nowhere like their lifestyle. This is what urban centres are trying to take away from us as they have no concept of rural life. Neither one of these areas ever stop to look around and realize that virtually everything in their lives is either made from hydrocarbons or is the result of mining and logging. I don't know where you live but look around your home and try and find something that doesn't come from one of these resources. Now consider where the bulk of your food comes from and ask yourself why anyone would treat us rural people like dirt and then try and stop us from producing everything that makes their world go around. I hope this helps explain why both of our countries economies are failing badly and why people like myself will never comply or submit to their nonsense.
Kind of also reminds me again of former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis and the Rector of the University of Glasgow being denied entry to Germany in last April to participate in a Palestine conference because they *might* say something wrong.
Western societies are now in terminal decline and the rich and powerful grab what they can.
British Palestinian doctor denied entry to France for Senate meeting about war in Gaza
Updated 10:29 AM CET, May 5, 2024
"...Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta was placed in a holding zone in the Charles de Gaulle airport and will be expelled, according to French Sen. Raymonde Poncet-Monge, who had invited him to speak at the Senate.
‘’It’s a disgrace,’’ Poncet-Monge posted on X.
A French official said that Abu Sitta was turned away because he is barred from entry to all Schengen zone countries based on a German request...."
It seems that Europe is so afraid of Israel and the U.S., that they will do whatever it takes to placate them. It looks like Australia has joined the gang. You are right. People are starting to wake up. Now we have to see if enough people are willing to stand up and be counted. Enough anyways, to put an economic dent in the empire, for that is the only thing the imperialists listen to. The sound of their money machines not giving them money.
Boycotts, and general strikes are what it is going to take to get their attention. Finding the will is the problem. Maybe if enough people get deported and killed. If enough companies go broke when their workers end up in the camps, then the hungry people might be willing to make a stand.
Given the chaos the U.S. is showing after less than one week, it looks like the unrest pot is starting to go from a simmer to a boil.
Europe is heading in the same direction. The unrest pot there is going from a simmer to a boil. Give things a couple more months. Especially with the German elections coming up. Things around the world are getting ready to become very interesting.
That's to true, it acts like a USA protectorate. It's just so interesting with a country that far away doing the bidding of the US. But, I would wager, the US uses a bit of unscrupulous muscle to bring them to heel. Look at history.
Yes, Australia has been far too servile to the USA. Aussies hold fairness in high regard, so the genocide in Gaza has shocked everyone. But the pro-Israel lobby is super strong so if anyone dares say apartheid is not "too complicated", the discussion is deemed "anti-semetic". The Muslim community and both major political parties are cowered by Murdoch and other oligarchs who wannabe Trump's broligarchs.
You have to give it to the Israeli Lobby that has somehow, infiltrated the entire world. It’s simply amazing how this minute percentage of the human population, has garnered such power over time. I have my thoughts on how it was done.. but suffice it to say, it was/is a masterful stroke!
Dunno about you Diana, but when I find myself in a roaring dumpster fire speeding breakneck down Hell’s Highway, I get this really strong urge to bail out … you know, to skip that whole weenies and marshmallow ending ...
There's nothing you can "do about the west's support of Israel's genocide and all of the associated censorship" when almost all of your government is captured.
Your only option is to leave. If leaving the country is not an option, then leaving the Union along with your State is the play. Many Texans have figured this out and are fighting to have a Vote on our Independence. I predict it will happen, come Hell or High water.
Thank you Caitlin! I have been reading your beautiful poem " In the thick of it", and then to this. How many journalists - the true ones - has the Israeli regime killed so far... .. therefore it is no surprise that those who are complicit in Israeli war crimes are now arresting and censoring our good journalists who are exposing the truth. We must support and stand with them.
With singular steps, one by one, we have to divest from the Empire.
The problem is that we have been embedded into the Empire. It has seeped into our daily lives down to the very toilet paper we use. We have to take the reigns on an individual level and divest from the Empire before their house of cards will fall. We have been lulled to sleep by modern convenience, and they have given us a so-called way of life that most of us are not willing to give up. We are embedded into the Matrix of Empire as we reap the benefits of their actions which we call "civilization". We have to start at home. If not we'll simply throw out the old bandit and re-install a new bandit.
Each of us has to do our own part (like boycotting Big Tech, reducing consumerism and "the shopping instinct", reducing consumption of various resources, etc.). The only way (that I know of) to fight back AGAINST CAPITALISM is to hurt the capitalists where it hurts most - THEIR pockets!
I think consumerism and capitalism are flip-sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other. Like two wings of the same bird, the bird can't fly with one wing.
To me behind the concept of consuming is the driving force of capitalism and behind capitalism is the driving force to consume.
When we consume, that is buy, buy, buy, we don't think of who suffered so that we could have what we buy. We have incorporated into our thinking that what we "want" is what we "need." So indirectly, we participate in the Empire building, if only that we may call our home our "castle".
On the other hand, the Capitalistic mindset cares not who is endangered by their gross acquisition of resources claiming that the so-called "free market" is theirs to exploit.
As individuals, we may not have an international corporation that's gobbling up resources and destroying the planet in its wake, but we consume as an individual "corporation" when we don't take responsibility for aiding and abetting in the destruction of the planet.
Edward Bernays, Father of Public Relations and Propaganda, dug deep into the psychology of human nature and used it to create compliant participants in Capitalism. He knew that if he dressed it up as something "appealing" humans would not see its dangers and would gladly go along with it as it seemed to salaciously romanticize the "cardinal" sin of avarice.
So instead of hitting "them" in their pockets, we have to check ourselves, take a hard look in the mirror, and take the action we need to be more conscientious about how our habits, wants, and desires feed the Empire.
>>"So instead of hitting "them" in their pockets, we have to check ourselves,"
Yes, that's exactly HOW we "hit them in their pockets". We "CHECK" ourselves WHEN we buy, when we consume. This CHECKING of ourselves (and changing OUR behaviors of consumption) IS what will hit them in their pockets.
You're saying the SAME thing I am (but maybe not realizing it?)
Albert Einstein said, "The height of stupidity is most clearly shown by the individual who ridicules something he knows nothing about."
On one hand, elderly people are ridiculed as unable to use the Internet and on the other, I am ridiculed for staying up with the times and using the Internet.
😂😂 Well, I have to admit, Jeffrey, like I said, I didn't exclude myself. However, there are numerous others ways that I have and continue to divest from Empire. I won't list them all, but you can best believe anyone who comes to my home will wonder if I have any idea that we are no longer in the dark ages. I make no excuses. It's a step by step process. If you'd like I can elaborate in a private DM just to give you some idea of how I am doing my part.
One way to stand with those journalists who are being targeted, is to subscribe to them, send them money, share their posts, and like their YouTube, and other social media platforms.
There are many here who want a way to actively fight Zionism and all creeping fascism. I’d like to suggest, in the short-term, banner drops over highways, attending demonstrations, and pro-Palestine graffiti. Wear your “Free Palestine” t-shirt everywhere and put your Palestinian flag on your porch! In the long-term, meet and provide mutual aid to your neighbors and adopt someone. Find an elder American who has no children (or they live far away), or if you’re older, find a family to adopt that needs a grandparent (or another one). Spend time together, help each other, and then bring more adopted folks into your circle. Eventually work on establishing a household together, because multi-generational homes are: more resilient, less consumerist and lonely, and they provide members with more time and choices for staying home with babies, homeschooling, organizing politically, etc. These households will make us strong again, and don’t you know how much the fascists don’t want that happening?!
Seriously, though, does the idea appeal to you? When I talk about it with people, it seems clear that Americans cannot imagine giving up their privacy and "independence." I get that it's hard to change the way you're accustomed to living, but from all the time I've spent in Mexico I'm convinced that we'd better try. The drug war notwithstanding, that's a very strong country (especially considering its neighbor) despite widespread material poverty and a short history of democracy.
My hope is that people "adopting" each other gains traction and becomes an option everywhere. Have you heard about the home for elders in Holland that encouraged young people to come live there? It's a great mutual success. If we limit our politics to asking for things from billionaires and warmongers without taking the time to build community, we'll deserve what we get.
"If you want to make someone angry, tell him a lie; if you want to make him furious, tell him the truth."
The elites and that includes the Jewish elites are terrified that real journalism will open the eyes and touch the hearts of ordinary people, sedated by propaganda.
"Oh rascal children of Gaza
You who constantly disturbed me
with your screams under my window.
You who filled every morning
with rush and chaos.
You who broke my vase
who stole the lonely flower on my balcony.
Come back
and scream as much as you want
and break all my vases.
Steal all the flowers.
Come back.
just come back..."

Keep forcing them to expose their hand... Every exposure awakens more and more people. It's not easy, but it's necessary if we want them to wake up and stay awake so we can count on their help when the Revolution starts. Power to the people!
Israeli Occupation forces killed an enemy combatant recently. The two year old was shot in the head. Never Forget the Palestinian Holocaust. Stop the Genocide !

Don't forget the blackmail. All the shit people, every shit proclivity, all in the one space, together.
Like Bob Dylan said so many years ago: "Money doesn't talk, it swears!"
Such much for the centuries of neutrality of Switzerland. It's amazing how thorough the Zionist grip on Europe and the USA.
Swiss neutrality is a definite has been. It is gone and will not come back. Imagine: they now even have state pension funds managed by the USA!

Yes, that has been broadcast all over the internet and in the Greyzone.
The Grayzone keeps me sane.
Nothing proclaims the power of journalism as much as arresting and killing journalists.
Exactly. If journalists weren't revealing the crimes of the war criminals, they wouldn't be attacked and censored as much as they are.
They say George Orwell wouldn't believe his predictions would actually come true. In fact, it looks like they've become even more true.

Like the present one, they did not last the full term because they were (like the current one) crap.
well, there's communists that come up with this kinda pov:

and indeed, the warning you seem to have read in orwell above could kinda be surmised as: 'don't try a socialism under any circumstances'.
There is a fairly large difference between Communist and Socialism. Especially as the current usage of "Communist" has little to do with communism.
Orwell was a Socialist to the end.
He hated and feared would happen was totalitarianism.

No offense taken. Actually I made a comment last week to the effect that if your government tried to take over Canada not only would a lot of us fight this but the free thinking people in the States would also defend us. At any rate I don't think it wil come to this.
Hi Peter
Hi Peter

Australia didn't *just* join the gang. It has made itself one of the most servile of the US government's followers.
BDS!!
This is on so many people's minds right now. What do we do about the west's support of Israel's genocide and all the associated censorship?
Get noisy as hell, in greater and greater numbers.
Never shut up--never surrender!

Best of luck friend,

Minnesota wanted to secede and join Canada in the 1990s.
Thanks for putting this report out. I only heard about it minutes before reading your post.
How do you suggest that we stand with them?
Well said Nana Baakan Agyiriwah!
I don't think shopping is an instinct.
Capitalism is an addiction and consumerism is the co-dependency.
Yes, I know - I'm using that phrase intentionally to convey how embedded shopping has become to the human psyche in ultra-Capitalist societies.
Yes, I agree. I realized in 1968 that Americans are addicted to their lifestyle.
That's why we hippies decided to follow a different lifestyle.
You can break free of the typical establishment life, but you will have to face the estrangement that comes along with it.
I suggest that we begin again the hippy solution: Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out: Design an alternative lifestyle.
If you don't like our way, design another one that suits you.
Looks like you are still tuned in. Whats a hippy that uses the internet? Like someone supposedly amish with a Ferrari. You appear addicted.
Albert Einstein said, "The height of stupidity is most clearly shown by the individual who ridicules something he knows nothing about."
On one hand, elderly people are ridiculed as unable to use the Internet and on the other, I am ridiculed for staying up with the times and using the Internet.
You should get off the internet perhaps? There is no way you could have posted this without "the empire."
Good ideas.
I try to support them when I can.
Susan Mercurio, You may have a better answer than any I can come up with. All I can say for the moment is that I support them with my heart and mind.
I do too, but I fear that that is not enough.
And I am now challenging anyone who says "we must do this or that" without having any idea what they want us to do.
I sorry if I am rude, but those remarks are glib. They need to be backed up with some plan to go forward on.
Susan Mercurio, I didn't expect you to be rude. What have you got in mind in the way of support....
More to the point, what have YOU got in mind? Don't expect me to do the heavy lifting for you.
I AM an elderly person with no family. I live in Minneapolis Minnesota USA. Send someone to adopt me.
P.S. I'm a good cook and a former professional baker.
"If you want to make someone angry, tell him a lie; if you want to make him furious, tell him the truth."
The elites and that includes the Jewish elites are terrified that real journalism will open the eyes and touch the hearts of ordinary people, sedated by propaganda.
"Oh rascal children of Gaza
You who constantly disturbed me
with your screams under my window.
You who filled every morning
with rush and chaos.
You who broke my vase
who stole the lonely flower on my balcony.
Come back
and scream as much as you want
and break all my vases.
Steal all the flowers.
Come back.
just come back..."

"The more they expose their hand, the more they risk awakening a real revolutionary response to their tyranny by showing everyone how locked down our society really is."
Keep forcing them to expose their hand... Every exposure awakens more and more people. It's not easy, but it's necessary if we want them to wake up and stay awake so we can count on their help when the Revolution starts. Power to the people!
If you want to know what to do when the revolution starts, read From Dictatorship to Democracy by Dr Gene Sharp.
Israeli Occupation forces killed an enemy combatant recently. The two year old was shot in the head. Never Forget the Palestinian Holocaust. Stop the Genocide !
