Having pulled the threads to the extent that the whole rotten tapestry of lies and criminality has been exposed, what do we do with the anxiety the truth produces? That’s our challenge.
Take action--and put the anxiety behind you. You won't have time for it during the Revolution. You'll be too busy concentrating on what needs to be done to alleviate anxiety for everyone forever.
Too simple. I have been taking action — unceasingly. The more we learn, the clearer the magnitude of the task becomes. The anxiety gets in the way of knowing what path to take because the challenge is so huge. Your response sounds condescending, although I assume it was meant to be helpful.
It is meant to be helpful. In counseling sessions, you coach the patient to stop sitting around and worrying and to get up and do something--anything--to break the destructive pattern of thinking. (If your anxiety is still overwhelming, there are medications to help with it.) But here's an action to take: Have you read Tad Stoermer's "The Resistance History of the United States" yet? It's a great book, and it will give you some ideas how others have handled challenges in the past and the principles of resistance that they utilized. If our ancestors could deal with some very daunting challenges, we can too.
The challenge we face is in determining the most effective resistance for the moment we’re in. This isn’t the past. Most people I know are doing next to nothing. My guess is that that’s true about most of the people you know, as well. And for most of the readers here. People are retreating into smaller worlds for comfort. The ones I know are not turning to drugs or alcohol, but to consumption and other forms of distraction. They don’t even want to have conversations about what’s going on. We’ve all probably met and regularly work with a relatively small group of activists. And we all have different ideas about what’s most effective. There’s some flailing going on. We need concrete strategies tailored to the present. I’ve tried to narrow mine down, am working toward them and have proposed them to others, but most of those who are working with me toward the same goals I’ve never even personally met. The anxiety comes, I think, because there are still relatively few of us and we don’t have unlimited time.
With what time we do have let us get everyone we can to stop buying the goods and using so-called entertainment, or subscribing to media companies they own. If no money is coming in there will eventually be none to send in support of the most terrorist state in the world, and don't buy israeli products by checking barcodes ending in 729 that's israel's.
Our (I'm Canadian) Leonard Cohen said it (or, rather, sang it): "There is a crack, a crack, in everything. That's how the light gets in." I wonder what he'd think about the fact that, for so many of us, that crack was revealed in October of 2023. Cohen was silent about Israel...but he could hardly have remained so, had he lived. I am so grateful to you, Caitlin, for naming and describing so well what it feels like to suddenly become conscious of what before was hidden behind a sort of veil...of our own ignorance and naiveté that accompanies privilege. That privilege has meant not having to face the price being paid by others, in our own countries and elsewhere in the world, of the long and terrible history of colonialism. And that price has always been too high, and the reckoning is long overdue.
So spot on. The people with the most $$$$ are the worst anywhere in the world, they are zionists pretending to be for the jews, yet every rotten thing they do makes everything worse for normal jews. These oligarchs taking over all the media they can get their claws into in order to help israel, and israel wants to exterminate as many as possible then enslave the rest. And that is because a zionist saw an opportunity to claim, for himself and his offspring, more than anyone ever needs. They, mortal men, not God, rewrote the bible to make jews believe they were above everyone else and hoped that would make them turn against people who once were their friends.
They are the cause of all the wars lately, and for the hate they engender wherever they appear. With all their money, mansions, yachts and jewels they are still miserable, so starting wars and killing and raping people seems be what they love best.

Once something is seen--it cannot be unseen. Lies once denied cannot be reactivated easily. It's why we've got to keep repeating the truth and telling it to everyone we come into contact with non-stop. Truth itself is an effective weapon--use it! I'm now reading Whitney Webb's, One Nation Under Blackmail, and she unveils the matrix we live in even further. I can't recommend it enough.
Short story: incredibly, I was around when Munich happened. People might remember the "terrorists" who killed "innocent" Israelis in the Olympic Village...my parents were absolutely outraged, with lots of head-shaking and open racism (the small town where I grew up was incredibly white, a bit like Boise, Idaho today.). But there was a photo which appeared everywhere, newspapers, magazine covers...a black and white image of a young woman, keffiyah wrapped around her head, a Kalashnikov in her arms...She was stunning. My parents spoke horribly about her, but I remained entranced. Never left me, the image.
Compassion is not only exercised with gentleness. When something unhealthy needs to be cured or removed and gentleness doesn’t make it happen compassion can be exercised with vigorous action. But it has to be done from a pure and warm heart of loving kindness without any trace of anger, hatred and revenge. Yes, this sick, unhealthy and degenerated world that we have allowed to be built upon lies needs to be taken down - sometimes gently, sometimes vigorously - but before we do that, we need to develop our heart or should I say “mind”… How to do that? Well, some enlightened beings have shown the way, but be careful because this too has been corrupted by ego and its greed.
