Money cannot control you unless you deem it necessary to take it

I am not sure I know of any politicians that fit that requirement

They ALL seem pretty rich to me whether left or right

The power of The COMPULSORY State can control anyone who is not as powerful and does not have the power to legalize their actions

Blackmail has a strange way of controlling most politicians.

Some are indeed rather obvious under remote control for misdeeds they have undertaken. Lindsey Graham being one of the most obvious.

But for many others it's just blind greed enabled by the effect of the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, opening the floodgates of political bribery.

I think its incorrect to suggest that business is blackmailing politicians. Intelligence agencies have long used blackmail to control politicians. Its the CIA demanding a politician vote a particular way not pepsico.

No

Politicians have a strange way of making money by selling the power that they have

And blackmail implies a threat ?

Do you have those threats for those politicians in control ?

The constitution was written as it was because power hungry psychopathic people want to rise to power. They are attracted to the political arena. Not all, but most. The constitution was written to reign in that issue. If you give more power to them thru your voting and support of policies, then you are giving more power to the kind you despise. Again, not all, but most. Blackmail works because those people are easier to control with some sort of blackmail. i.e. Blackmail is the currency of the powerful. As for your statement above, I don't know what you are implying or trying to say.

you said politicians were blackmailed

I simply wanted to known what the blackmail threats were

Whatever good things can be said about the constitution, it was based upon compulsory local states that the founders thought could be controlled in an official document.

There was no attempt to actually remove that power in the individual states first.

Good luck knowing what each individual blackmail threat is. You won't ever know that. If you expect someone to hand that to you on a silver platter, then you do not understand the nature of the beast.

Nothing works unless the people are informed and engaged. We have neither at the moment.

then why did you make a sweeping statement that they were blackmailed ?

And I stated my view of the basis

Politicians make money by selling their power

For instance , if Bernie Sanders and Obama cared about the poor so much, how did they acquire multiple mansions ? 3 for Obama and 4 for Sanders
