There is something deeply and profoundly sick about American society as well - always has been. The USA was settled by those who thought they were exceptional. That ideology has lasted to this day and is behind the USA being probably the most murderous, imperialist nation of all time, although another exceptionalism country, England, would be close.

I realize that the USA was built on hate. I still try to look for the good but I'm close to giving up.
Don't give up Eddie. A lot of people in the world feel as distraught as you.
US just needs a war on it's own soil then hopefully some will learn.
We had a Civil War and Americans didn't learn the first time.
