I was not implying that Operation Mockingbird is the current name for their program to embed operatives in the media, the reason I brought up the program and use the name is because for people who have been brainwashed and are living in a Stockholm syndrome type relationship with government/mainstream media, the name forces them to take an honest look at the true nature of those institutions.

They don't need Operation Mockingbird any more. CIA operatives now work in all of the mainstream media's outlets.
