I see the core of human behavior in this the old "Shoot first syndrome" that we use against our fellow humans and always against animals and other creatures and the planet for that matter. Doesn't make it right but that's what people do. While historically it was indeed mostly men involved in overt acts of violence and patriarchal oppression, the choice to behave violently, nefariously, selfishly or oppressively is not something that is unique to men, and it certainly is not unique to a specific race of men from a certain geographic region.
