Conditioning in the west is an ambient institutional phenomenon. Every avenue where perception management is possible, it has been captured and molded by this insidious leviathan.
It is not an innate aspect of being human outside of our species being narrative driven as a story telling species, but I would agree with you that it is something that all humans must contend with in the modern world no matter where you live. Every modern nation uses the power of narrative control over its respective mass society to bring about its agenda. However, I think the west is far ahead than most as it has convinced its populace that this ambient phenomenon does not exist. They are "free". It is a tough world for anyone though. The war for the mind is real and it is not something that can be delegated. You either win it for yourself, or you do not ever realize you were in a war.
