Humans are like a plague of locusts upon the earth. Free birth control for all who want it.

Free birth control? Absolutely agree!! Be careful with things like the pill though. It's very difficult to get rid of endocrine disruptors that end up in the water and that, imo, has led to the dystopian gender confusions of today. You don't need much hormone to pass through the placental connection to make [artificial] differences.

While I support your idea, and even encourage "free birth control for all", maybe you meant "some humans"? Most humans I know and have met in my lifetime are decent human beings (though they may have belief systems that are completely anithetical and contradictory to mine).

The flaw I see in human beings is their abilitiy to think critically. While our world has grown incredibly complex over the ages, our evolutionary development has not kept pace with the changes we are surrounded by. Making sense of today's world requires a higher level of critical thinking, media literacy, knowledge of statistics and probability, and emotional empathy.

Unfortunately, very few of the above "essential skills" are taught in our educational institutions (or by our parents, peer groups, etc.). As a consequence, people are easily manipulated by a "very select few" psychopaths and sociopaths that reside at the top of our "socio-economic hierarchy".

So, its not humans per say that I blame, but those very few at the top that are hell bent on destroying humanity (and the planet) for their own self-serving goals and moral failings.

Yes, the ones in power have caused the most damage. We all need to practice love and respect and keep an open mind toward all other life forms, human or otherwise. We're smart enough to destroy nearly the whole planet, but not evolved or wise or respectful or loving enough to save it and to prevent war.
