The only potential reason why I'd bring a child into this world would be to fully train it in all the skills and talents and understanding it needed to become a leader of the resistance. If that necessitated Monarch-style MPD programming then so be it.
Even so, given the number of children in the world without parents I would go down the adoption route, and make very sure that child knew it was loved.
If your children are 'extremely successful and wealthy' then I'm guessing they must be very well adapted to this society.
