Of course real people are going to get hurt, but both parties feel trans people are useful, in the same way Roe was. Or 'Super Predators' were during the drug war. Or 'Welfare Queens' were during the Reagan era. You manufacture fear of an other, and 'the adults' laugh their asses alll the way to the bank.
