I have lived in Govt. housing in London BUT this was years ago and it wasn't a cement block.
I worked for a company who helped single parent families to get housing. We had old people in the same houses. It worked out very well. The older people helped with babysitting and gardening. Also lending some wise advice.
IF we don't have a dream: healthcare for all/housing for all/good education for all then we might as well behave like the serfs that we are.
The Centre for me has always meant kowtowing to the know-nothings of this world who sadly limp along until they either die or wake up.
