A comment I wrote ten hours ago when I saw the initial reports:
“The Zionists’ “mass exploding pager attack” in Lebanon on 17 September 2024 will go down in infamy. This is terrorism in its purest form. When I saw the reports half an hour ago, it brought to mind episodes of the British science fiction series Doctor Who that I watched as a child in the 1970s. It seems to me that this has opened a Pandora’s Box that cannot be closed again.”
I would expect Israel would not go on carrying as if the favours won't be returned in kind. I hope not. Violence begets violence. Also, crazy to think how many of its own civilians Israel is willing to sacrifice for this project, and how much violence has just been embedded into the DNA at this point.
What ordinary Israeli citizens don't realize is that - THEY ARE ALL EXPENDABLE (though not as much as the Palestinians or colored Jews or Christians are). The Israeli elite/oligarchs don't care much about ordinary Israelis (just as the American elite/oligarchs/empire managers don't care much about ordinary Americans).
A lot of the things that happen now are just like something in a book or film from the past.Maybe it's not that the books were prophetic but they are being used as a blueprint.
