A false flag was my first thought on hearing about the shooting. The timing was too perfect. Just when even mainstream news was starting to use the word "genocide" for the first time, along comes an attack on employees of the Israeli embassy and the screams of "antisemitism!" all over again.
My first thought too. If this wasn't a set up to divert attention away from the starving babies in Gaza, then it was a great spin on a spontaneous act. Mr. Rodriguez could have been a victim of "stochastic terrorism" you could say, driven to do something to stop the genocide and conveniently steered in the right direction to pick easy targets coming out of a well-publicized party.

Can you say "Manchurian Candidate"?
Imagine my shock.
