What assumptions am I jumping to exactly? It seems to me that most of the people here who supposedly care about human rights because of their die hard defense of Palestine do not see the hypocrisy of celebrating the death of another human being.

How about: "Most of the people here who care about human rights also understand math, and that a single person was murdered sparking massive, outsize media attention, while the Israelis with American support murder dozens or hundreds every single day through assassination and starvation and nobody is flying flags at half staff or writing long hagiographic obituaries for any of them."
