Paternity, not Patriarchy (it’s different!) and has to do with “Patrimony” and thus the need for certainty of fatherhood ( and thus, the control of female bodies.) It isn’t “sexist” to point out facts. Now, if you want the feminist take on women functioning within firmly established systems of patriarchy, I am happy to have that discussion as well. (Nikki Haley becoming president would not, in fact, create a Matriarchy.)
