Chris Hedges would suggest that US Empire is collapsing, and that they can't continue to wage wars around the world and stage coups at the accelerated costly alarming rate we have since WWII. America is not great again, and never well be. In their attempt to dominate, police, and control the world and its resources while gutting its own infrastructure, Western hegemony and its unipolar vision navigated by arms makers, does not bode well for USA or the world. Even Kissinger knew better about Russia and post Cold War diplomacy than any of our corporate leaders. USA long ago missed any rights to claim a moral high ground.
I fully agree with you. This war will destroy the American domination and unilateral action against any and all Muslim Nations around the world. Simply, the American people seem to be dumb about what is really going on in this world today. The American people are brain-washed to an extent that the US and the West are the best people and all others, even while-skinned people are bad. I support Putin here in this war. Because, logic says that we will have to support the right people, Putin wanted to talk to the US/NATO/Ukraine 6 months before the invasion. The West are not interested thus this invasion. One cannot have a cake and eat it all the time. People still remember what the US/NATO did in Ukraine in 2014.
