Trump scored some points by talking about empire and globalization in his 2016 campaign. It showed he was capable of listening to voters and responding to their interests, which is pretty radical in modern American politics. That it was all hot air was pretty obvious but somehow it's still better than Biden's only plausible 2020 promise, which was to not be Trump. Ok, two plausible promises if you include the nothing will fundamentally change thing that was supposed to be in private with high end donors.

It was horrific. Why can't we just have an eggplant as POTUS? I think it would be better and after four years we could replace it with another and make Baba Ganoush with the ripe one leaving office.
