I would completely agree accept that we chose the word and beat every other living thing on earth with our superiority of “intelligence”. We can’t now that we are at the pinnacle of “intelligence” and reaping the whirlwind, just change the definition to insanity and sit in our peril. If you look around, some of the least “intelligent” species are the most successful. Mushrooms for instance—extremely successful. And beneficial. 🍄 🤗. What can we learn from them? Or what can we learn from a non-theistic religion (Buddhism) about intuition, personal energy control, consciousness, peace of mind? We have the answers—they are all around us. It just seems to me that we have to stop being so ignorant and relying on our western “The Enlightenment” values, that have gotten us here to this insanity, and it would be good to recalibrate and reach for real enlightenment, personal enlightenment. Then maybe we will stop collectively creating the fertile ground for our “insanity” to flourish in. Here endeth the lesson. 😆😂🤣

Very true. The "Enlightenment" is the most overrated era in human history, and the socio-political/religious/philosophical spawn of its hyper-reductionism and hyper-individualism are what keeps the western world from real enlightenment. In any case, in no case do I suggest we "sit in our peril". :)
