Cats don't think too highly of us- so there you go. They keep us guessing: does the cat like us -or not? And that translates into all kinds of good stuff - for the cat. They play on our vanity and insecurity, need for love from those who withhold it, and our need to be in control. And that's how we're played by everyone else, and ourselves.
For my part, I'd as soon not have to bother with the human world at all, but I am not an apex predator with a reliable food supply. So I have to leave the delights of felinity from time to time to explain things to the people in the hope that they don't screw my world up more than they already have.
You do a wonderful job of that to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Thank you for your efforts. Getting people to see that the cliff is right THERE and to not step over the edge is a big job. You’re a good cat man. 😻😸😽

And they let us project our inanities on them to which they make no comment and then we think that’s proof of something and we act on that. Unlike dogs who are so anxious to help us, they’ll join us in our insanity. I love dogs just fine, but cats are gods and always will be
