Like you I am an Australian, and one of the hardest or perhaps saddest breaking paradigms for me was the realization that our western nations are run by fascists, and we've lived our lives in an illusion of freedom and democracy. Here's some food for thought I have been researching all the connections between the Xi Jinping gang and the rest of the Covid-cartel, and came to the conclusion that neither China or the west could have pulled off the Covid con without the other - they are cooperating, and you see it most at the Davos globalists-World Economic Forum level. But even though they are working together to break up the world, Xi and his gang wants to break up the world so they can seize control of what is left over, but the psychopathic fascists in the west think they should have control, so there's a little tension going on.
One big sign of cooperation between these equally evil imperialistic empires is apart from Covid they cooperate fully on foisting the climate change Great Reset on the world while China goes on building coal fired power stations - because they stand to get the most profit from manufacturing for the green new deal.
While we see Biden breaking the world, Xi shut down Shanghai to expunge his enemies and seize control of the city, as it was under the control of the Shanghai gang who are his greatest enemies, but he was doing his part for the Great Reset, and smashing up the global supply chains too. Meantime he gets to add to his propaganda campaign that lockdowns work - 3 Shanghai doctors who prior to the lockdowns were spruiking 'live with the virus' just published a paper in the Lancet boosting the propaganda that lockdowns work, because Xi announced in the politburo a few weeks back that they would 'smash any opposition to the Covid doctrine of lockdowns' - Xi's way or quarantine!
