I still find it hard to believe that one's own government can do such heinous things, that's probably why I still go with the official version. However, these questions have bugged me for 20 years.
Since then, the vast numbers of "heinous things" the US & UK and 'western' governments have done have led me no to never vote for any of them ever. And occasionally take the opportunity to comment on excellent blogs like Catlin's here. What we have been witnessing in our short lives, is fall of empire / late stage collapse of capitalism - which has a description of a psychopath (a profit maximising self interested model of a so - called 'typical person') at the core of its obviously bull shit (e.g. no model of banks and money creation) neo-classical economic theory.
