My experience has been different. I know some Trump voters, and almost all of them begin justifying their vote by seizing the opportunity to attack Biden, Harris, Obama and Clinton (take your pick). I assume they were Republicans before Trump climbed out of his sewer, but they may have been independent.
The personal epithets, Putin lover, Russia dupe, etc are what I get from the liberals when I agree with the comments from the Trump supporters. The liberals strike me as the most confident, most propagandized, most stridently close-minded, and they’re not interested in any differing POV. I’ll say thus for the Trump voters: They got tired of the Republican lying careerists, and already knew the Democrats were willing say anything and do damned near nothing. The sad thing is they put their faith in an overt liar who has no inclination to help anybody but himself. The most savvy among us probably don’t vote.
