The Geneva convention accords more rights to enemy soldiers in war than the Israeli government is giving to the wounded in Gaza by bombing hospitals, cutting off medical supplies and electricity and water. Cattle are given more rights for humane treatment written into US law than the slaughter occuring in Gaza. This is purely and simply genocide. The US government by continuing to supply arms and building up US military forces in the Mideast is complicate in this genocide. Is this a precursor to the US invading Iran as a means of preventing them from developing a nuclear arsenal, as well as provoking Iran into"throwing the first punch" so the US has an excuse? Perhaps Halliburton has a contract for rebuilding Gaza for the Israelis once the genocide is complete. The UN is also complicate by it's inaction. It's a waste of space in New York City. Morally and ethically this is worse than the Nazis Holocaust because the world is watching in real time (which wasn't the case in WW2 ) and demanding a ceasefire.
Has the military budget increased by the "aid" we are sending to our "allies".? It's now over a trillion dollars if not.
It would of course have made more sense to put the UN HQ somewhere "neutral" like Switzerland. The number of times I've heard about difficulties of countries' representatives being excluded visa's from the USA to attend the UN makes a mockery of the intention behind the creation of the organisation.
