Remaining aloof to the tug o war political landscape requires a certain amount of discipline. And no small amount either. We have a tendency to choose a side whether that be in sports or politics. The greater slice of truth is mostly found in the nuance and nuance is rarely noticed when one has skin in the fight and/or emotionally/intellectually invested in a particular outcome.
To be honest the notion that almost every position available on the political strata with which one can identify with, is or has been pre designated like a worm on a hook by scheming elites is terrifying. It strikes me that the majority are whirling like dervishes, whipped up by the cracking sounds of identity politics and the current thing.
It takes a certain discipline to be still and see the obvious. The greater part of true and good is always obvious.
