The US has been at war for 220 of the last 240 years. This is an incredible feat given that they’ve never been invaded! I believe the fatal development leading them now to swirl the American Standard was jettisoning the Bible and replacing its principles by the poisonous dictates of Edward Bernay’s “Propaganda “. Yet they continue to make the preposterous claim that they were still guided by the commandments of Christianity., aka the Rules based International Order, a noxious gas-filled ballon pricked by Caitlin.

Technically, the US was invaded during the War of 1812. The British burned down the White House in 1814. Too bad it was rebuilt.

Thanks TRC. I was thinking of invasions as an explanation/mitigation/justification of having to go to war. I didn’t see 1812 as qualifying in those respects. Actually it could be argued that 1812 was just another war of aggression/acquisition with America claiming the British were arming the Natives to thwart westward expansion of God- sanctioned land thieving and Native/buffalo massacring. It became a theme.

I see that theme. I also think the French and Indian War of the 1750s was essential in establishing the idea of "white settler superiority" forever in the minds of the colonists who would soon declare themselves independent of Great Britain. The French and Indian War (or Seven Years War as it's known in Europe) and the War of 1812 (The so-called "Second War of Independence") aren't taught enough in general history classes, IMO. Having been a re-enactor in that F& I period, it's rather sad how white Americans don't realize how their aggression against Native Americans began and for what reasons.

That’s like saying the Boers of South Africa or Zimbabwe were “invaded”.

History is conquest. We just get more accept with what we can see than what we read in dusty books.

The sheep used to worship god, now there are many gods, the government, the science, the vaccine. The sheep have been trained to attack any threat to their religion!

Yes, you're right. It was hammered into us throughout childhood. Why we had to endure the OT with all its mindless gore + selected Jewish legends has had me puzzled for quite a while. Slowly I've been able to throw those shackles off as the nature of the long game becomes apparent. The so-called Christian Zionists have their heads firmly inserted where the sun don't shine thanks to Scofield's 1917 Bible commentary. The Bible as a whole has spawned all sorts of big religious bu$ine$$e$ & other nefarious organisations. Difficult to see how Zen Buddhism for example could rival that.

I think you’re being too harsh. I’m not touting the Bible and it has been used to justify all kinds of malfeasance. And I’m not saying it was original in all respects. And but the basic principles of morality and respect for your fellow man were admirably laid out.

Btw if people weren’t fighting about religion they’d be fighting about land, women, possessions and you name it.
