When someone defines a “western world” what is really mean is: the racist alliance of colonialist nations that define themselves as «white» and the rest of the world as prey in some sort of jungle. And then they operate by the law of the jungle - not international law. Thugs.
Time and time again they do this. And then they move on to the next. They already spent the past 20 years in frenzy of mass killing around the middle east such as Iraq, Syria, Yemen….and all the way to Afghanistan. All where they killed more people than in Gaza. And now…they are doing it again.
As long as there is a “western world” they will practice colonialism and genocide. Lawlessly. Cruelly. And Dishonestly. As they do here. It….is…..what…..they….do.
So what you are saying actually makes no sense.
The only way this changed is for those who have defined themsleves as the “western” racist colonialist world to stop doing so - stop identifying as “western” and start identifying with the rest of humanity.

When people stop trying to be “white” and “western” and stop trying to impose the supremacy of this artificial and gruesome identity over the rest of the planet, the carnage will stop. But that’s going to be down to self reflection on whether any of this is productive. Not horror at the carnage. Because the entire point of the “western” identity is to dehumanise and “other” the rest of the planet, and to make the carnage rationlizeable.
Hey, Kudjoe, you know that this is what they do, and I know that. But I think the millions upon millions of people who are taking to the streets and realizing that this is what they do, and that's making a huge impact.
I live in the west, it's what I understand and where I can make change. I also identify as part of the rest of the world. To my view, this is less othering and more taking responsibility where I can.
