Nope.

I hold every single American equally responsible and complicit in genocide, murder, child slaughter.

You Americans are evil and disgusting.

There is not an American that doesn't believe in American supremacy and the right to dominate the planet.

It has been the same since the indigenous indians were slaughtered, the Africans enslaved and the constant wars that have raged around the world.

You are all hypocrites, willfully ignorant of the crimes against humanity you commit EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of every day.

YOU vote for the people in power, YOU pay to kill and destroy, YOU consider all other races inferior, YOU are responsible.

Having lived in the USA for 40 years I’ve gotta say I never met one person (except my husband) with whom I could discuss the Palestinian cause, the need for a universal health care system, the evil of the US foreign policy, etc. Eyes would glaze over or I’d be attacked. Americans believe ardently in their exceptionalism, even the so-called progressives.

In my former community (a bastion of liberalism) there is a deathly silence about what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.

Pure fantasy to think and believe that you and a handful of friends you’ve met, are all that is left who morally oppose what is going on in the US and what is now global. You’re not wrong in much of what you say but I know hundreds who are in opposition to what is going on and in no way other than that which is forced, willingly support the Empire of Lies. You are not the remnant of a lost civilization. There are many many more of you.

Why would people who are opposed to censorship, the spy/surveillance state, global wars etc., vote for either candidate?

I think this collective blame is dangerous, that’s exactly the way Israhell and Zionists are behaving with Palestinians, making you just as bad as them! I’m not in the US but our government in the UK are just as complicit and they do not represent me in any way.

Collective guilt is wrong both morally and factually. That you can do it, for whatever reasons, should help give you some insight into the thinking of those who use collective guilt to go on to justify collective punishment.

Jane's avatar

The USA has used collective guilt to justify all of its crimes against humanity. Japan, Vietnam, Iraq, Cuba, on and on. It’s what they do. It’s because Americans have never had to suffer collectively for the crimes of their govt that some here are outraged at that idea. That outrage is a form of American exceptionalism. Perhaps if Americans own up to their responsibility, they might rise up and revolt. I won’t hold my breath.

either way, it seems to be a strong unifier. 'collective responsability' sounds ok. those things are not easily found in a system where a minority leeches off the majority. one day 'usa, usa, usa !' and the next 'not my government'. (i refer again to southpark episode 100).

The vast majority of Americans are victims of that same system, and the same goes for Britain, the country from which America took over the role of imperialist hegemon.

I understand your anger (I'm sure we all do) but there are many Americans who hate their ruling class as much as you do. The shitlibs who will rush to defend that ruling class because they believe the bourgeois propaganda, now THEY are deserving of scorn

Jane's avatar

You are among a very small minority in the US if you speak out against the ruling class.

The Brits are not victims either. They mostly support the imperialism their country’s wealth was built on. But they’re not as impoverished as Americans. At least they have universal healthcare (even though it’s being eroded it still exists) and more than 2 awful parties to vote for.

Britons are much poorer than Americans, the NHS notwithstanding.

If you are familar with the body of artistic compositions known as "Looney Tunes", you may be aware of a small yappy dog that follows Spike The Bulldog around, singing Spike's praises, getting slapped around by Spike, and getting Spike into stupid fights.

The UK is that little yappy dog.

You obviously have not seen the 400 thousand plus protesters who Dr. Jill STEIN addresses! I don't know where you are getting you info from but it is Wrong! 86% of Americans want an end to Ukraine funding. 60% want an end to Israel. The creatures in our government as in the UK are our enemies also! They do not give a shit about us and they are actively destroying our countries!

I would like to add one more statement to this post in that I myself grew up between and with 2 different tribes of North American Indians the Cherokee and the Cheyenne. I have loved these people my whole life and I know first hand the abuse this fucking government and many citizens have imposed on them. From when riding in my friends car constantly being pulled over because of his race which did not happen with my car because of mine. All the way to every time there is a toxic fucking pipeline to be run these motherfuckers always put them through tribal lands even protected spiritual lands! I hate these motherfuckers with every breath I take and between crying at 3 in the morning to fierce anger at noon I can tell you I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING THIS EVIL UNTIL MY LAST BREATH!

You obviously have never met an American. Anger is destroying your reasoning. There are many of us who have done everything possible to get rid of the creatures inhabiting the government. You can only understand how this happens by viewing the corruption itself. Zionist are the enemy of the world. Always have been. They have created the perfect storm. How 41%+ of the US are some form of Christian Zealot who have effectively been transformed into Zionist not even knowing it was done to them! For this reason it is difficult to even have an "Armed" resistance to this evil in DC because they would fight for their masters the Zionist Nazi politicians. The proper solution is to wipe out DC all in one go with every last Zionist Nazi piece of shit there at the same time! This has always been the problem the citizens suffer and get punished while the government is fat and untouched! Get the snakes head not the body!

yeah, protests dont do shit. Jill Stein will get millions of votes when she loses, and the fascists will still be in power, but a new generation of sheepdogs will arise to keep a lid on the simmering fury many ordinary middle class americans (the poor are too caught up in daily dramas arising from poverty and working mulitple jobs and voting has never worked for them anyway) feel as they gradually sink. my prediction is there will either be an external intervention, which the maniacs will respond to by nuking the world, or an internal uprising. general strikes to my limited knowledge would be more difficult and less likely to happen than multiple people going off in multiple states (think Aaron Bushnells without his amazing idealism, and fueled by rage) setting off a conflagration--the powers that be have been spreading fire accelerants on the ground for decades. true to form, they are ramping that up too, even as they start wars they can't win with nuclear powers who are trying to mind their own business peacefully--China, and yes, Russia. I don't know if Iran has nukes yet or not, but that is a war the US would need nukes to win anyway, and Russia and China would automatically be on Iran's side in that, knowing they were next.

My brother Occi, I don’t think that Loooool is at all helpful.

For me “everything possible” includes self immolation or assassination.

Suicide by pig.

I’m still too timid to light myself on fire.

But, there’s a local US house rep who could easily sport a bullseye.

But, it’s not a simple matter: taking a life.

Shouldn’t be…..ever.

Self defense in the face of imminent harm is one thing.

Hunting a fellow human, even an inhuman one, is a whole other matter.

I’m not Israeli, so killing doesn’t come easy to me.

While I experience severe pain each and everyday, the idea of being on fire is still too frightening for me.

When I think about a heroic death, I think about Rachel Corrie.

I know that you’re angry.

I’m angry, and sad, and half crazy with grief, myself.

We need an army.

Flying solo ain’t gonna get it done.

If what Bushnell did didn’t move the needle, I don’t see how anybody going it alone can.

To quote that cocksuckin’ cretin, creep, Clinton, “I feel your pain.”

I wish I could make it go away.

I don’t know.

I don’t assume the worst, but I don’t know.

I have a very simple litmus test.

If you’re pro Israel, you’re my enemy.

No exceptions.

And, at this point, depending upon what is said, I may bash in your head.

Specifically, not you.

But, if you approve of the state of the Jews, we ain’t gonna get along.

I listened to a gutsy young kid, go on a tirade about how the Jews own and operate America.

He was called every name in the book.

Racist, misogynist, homophobe, antisemite.

I repeated, and repeated, and repeated that Palestinians are semites.

To no avail.

Then a dude threatened/tried to hurt the courageous kid.

Dude almost got his guts spilled by my blade.

I take this Palestine shit seriously.

It’s been on my plate since 1968.

I shoulda done more.

I shoulda done better.

I’m ashamed at my less than stellar efforts.

My Palestinian flags, and my beautiful, big mouth, haven’t done a god damn bit of good.

Gaza is gone, and a piece of me with it.

I shoulda went there, somehow.

Sharin’ books, and films, and anecdotes isn’t/wasn’t good enough, for them, or for me.

I feel like a failure.

I’ve been dreaming of a free Palestine since I was a kid.

My dream is dead, along with all of them moms and dads and their kids.

Makes me sick.

I think that I’d prefer to be blown to bits in Palestine.

At least I’d experience solidarity there.

Here there’s only indifference.

Makes me sick.

The truth hurts I guess. Americans support their terrorist govt. Otherwise they would do something to end its warmongering. Remember how Germany was treated after both world wars? The Allied view was that all Germans deserved to suffer. That’s what wars and sanctions do. Collective punishment. Americans have not been on the receiving end, yet.

You don't get it at all! The government in the US IS AN ILLEGAL ONE! They have violated so many of Us laws and Constitutional laws beyond the international laws that they are completely illegal. "You don't get it at all!" - how so? In less than a month you will see Americans flock to elect their "illegal" government. Who makes them do it? How does it square with the polling numbers you supplied earlier?

Maybe they say one thing and do (vote for) another. That doesn't absolve them from responsibility.

It's in their genes; same way with us; we're just a bunch of innocent, shit people, we can't help it; please understand, help us and love us; it's not our fault that we were born this way.
