I also noticed that Matt had picked up on Caitlin and not given her adequate credit, imo. And Russell Brand is now regularly quoting Caitlin. Sadly also, the captured and discredited Jacobin. I also think that Caitlin should have been in that list of 100 top spiritual teachers rather than Teal Swan. It was woefully underrepresented by women, but the inclusion of egotistical shysters wasn't a correction. I've realized that I've included even more of Caitlin's spiritual insights in my episodes than her journalism. I think she fits perfectly the field of Socio-Spirituality as I'm defining it: a hard-nosed, unflinching deep dive into the reality IN the world while questioning the reality OF the world based on separation vs. Oneness.

I fully agree. Caitlin inspires while willingly looking at the presence of evil. That's extremely rare, in my experience. I'm so glad that she's getting recognition.

I'm not sure about evil. What I say is that people are inherently good and when they behave badly, systems are to blame. To see people as evil means that either an evil god created them that way or genetics and circumstance produced them. Neither one would be the person's fault. To see everyone as potentially part of you, or One, I think means seeing yourself as no better than anyone else. At least that's what I look at in my version of socio-spirituality. But we completely agree that Caitlin inspires and it's so great that you're making us aware of the recognition she's getting!
