Actually, Bolton and Trump are the epitome of all that is wrong with America. How could you leave out Trump? What part of Caitlin's analysis did you miss? Trump loves coups. He just happens to suck at them, i.e. the failed Venezuela coup. Trump is not an exception. He was never and never could be an outsider. He's an insider who wants it all. Yes, a noxious, odious insider, but one of them regardless. One of them on steroids.
In Matt Taibbi's recent Substack, just read about all of the democrat/deep state coups against Trump, which started even before he was elected, and you'd have to be a blind partisan to believe he is/was an insider.
Seriously? Come on. Don't be so naive. If Trump was any real and true threat to the oligarchy or if he wasn't useful in some way to them, he never would have ascended as he did. They wanted it. Why? I can't be sure and truth be told, I can't even conjecture as to why.
