I am really surprised, almost shocked at your diminution of the value and efforts of Bill Wolfe! Incredible! But, how you do that is fascinating. And central to your put downs is the assumption that a person should always have the freedom to do whatever he wants to do. Really? If you're open-minded enough, you may be interested in Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl. He survived a Nazi concentration camp. A most interesting human being. He gave a talk in Berkeley many decades ago. One image-thought has stayed with me. He said. "You Americans have a Statue of Liberty off one coast, the East Coast. You are missing the other half. You must have a Statue of Responsibility off the other coast, the West Coast. You cannot have liberty without responsibility."

Your assumption that one should be allowed to do whatever he wants on a giant floating island that is a continent is an assumption the corporations practice every single minute of the day. And how well has that been working for everyone, Lou?
