There are animal atavisms, yes, but human beings are known for their ability to transcend primitive animality and troglodyte mentality. If you look at who exactly was engaging in human hierarchy in the past, it is always those societies that are based on turning the citizens back into Iron Age by propaganda. That is not "human condition" but a deliberate effort to minimize the human and maximize the tribal animal. There are billions of people in the world that have never engaged and will never engage in dividing human beings into who is a master and who is a slave. However, there are those who do that. And those who do, are the ones who benefit from such division. Or their wannabe followers.
