Making Communism your enemy only gives it power. To my way of thinking, fascism is worse. And that's where we're headed.

Those are 2 sides of the same coin. Their seeming opposition to each other is part of the (successful) disinformation of whoever is behind the project.

Yes, I love how their "seeming opposition" made Italian anarcho-communists faceplant Mussolini and made the Soviets steamroll Nazis aaaalll the way into Berlin...

You're assuming Hitler was a "fascist" (with the obvious corollary assumption that "fascist" is evil because the Communists & Jews say it is).

An interestingly curious question which you are apparently incapable of asking: Why would the Western Mainstream all these decades whitewash Lenin and Stalin's Communism while massively demonizing Hitler and Nazism? And why would supposedly anti-Establishment "socialists" like you be agreeing with the Evil Capitalist Western Mainstream on this matter?

There it is, all I needed to do was prod once, I expected a few more rounds of back-and-forth before the "Hitler wasn't really bad" loonie talk to come up.

But yes, I really love that Lenin biopic with Leo Dicaprio where he bangs every girl from Siberia to East Berlin... What about that Hollywood movie about how Stalin didn't really starve anybody on purpose? Or the "Black Book of Capitalism" where the author counts 200 quintillion dead because of Capitalism? That one's a doozy!

See? The Communist propaganda worked SO WELL, you don't even know what Communism means TODAY, more than a hundred years later after the October Revolution... :)

Seek professional help, if you can pay for it, of course, in the "communist" USA. ;)

It's not a show of good faith to infer the worst about your interlocutor. I didn't claim Hitler was not bad; but apparently in your mind to even raise the question is so VERBOTEN it automatically damns the questioner. I don't claim Hitler was good; what I do claim is that there are 4 fishy things about the Hitler Was Evil Narrative:

1) like the Oct 7. Hamas Narrative, it's not satisfied with making him simply bad (like a Napoleon) but must pull out all the stops of monstrous demonization

2) the source of the Narrative and its continued custodians for the past 80-odd years up to the present has been the Western Mainstream which, after the 2020 US Election and the Covid Shitshow, I can no longer trust on important matters

3) The Mainstream's obsession with Hitler all these decades as a non-negotiable evil is selective, with nowhere near the same degree of demonization for other leaders arguably as bad if not worse -- Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro -- indeed, oftentimes the Mainstream will wink at people who suggest support for any one or more of those Communist leaders (e.g., in a Zoom conference a couple of years ago amongst Mainstream journalists, one of them had a Mao portrait up on his wall behind him and nobody batted an eyelash, whereas if it was a Hitler portrait, his career would be DESTROYED -- AT BEST

4) which leads to the 4th factor: the radioactive toxicity of Hitler/Nazis/Questioning the Holocaust is so over the top, so maximally super-potent throughout society as the #1 THOUGHT CRIME OF ALL TIME FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER -- with its corollary, the Don't You Dare Sneeze at a Jew or You Must Be a Nazi Monster Too -- it should arouse reasonable suspicion among open-minded people who don't just swallow uncritically whatever the Mainstream tells them to think.

Well, you see, you seem to believe Castro could be "arguably" WORSE THAN HITLER, my man...

Castro who put food on every Cuban child's table, that alphabetized and made the Cuban people the most literate in the Americas, the country with the most medical doctors per capita on the PLANET... <--- This guy, it seems, to you, is arguably as bad as a dude directly responsible for, give or take, 50 million dead people of _all_ colors, shapes and sizes...

The link you're missing in your logic is the fact western capitalists were JUST FINE with Hitler aaaall the way up to the invasion of Poland, in fact, Nazism had a LOT of American help from its inception up until then...

THAT's why the propaganda was always on overdrive to "demonize" (rightly so, in a way and ironically) the Nazis: To whitewash how that shit is the inevitable conclusion of laisse-fairez-oligarchical capitalism, and how the Western powers - from the NYC to London, to Madrid, to Paris - all had the hots for what the nazifascists were doing... Just go read the shit the UK govt was saying about Mussolini's economical policies and such up until 30's, you can almost feel their hard-on for some insanely psychopathic bourgeoisie totalitarianism...

Not to mention the fact that Nuremberg only really judged the Nazis that wouldn't turncoat to the USA, right? After all, the ones that did turncoat just ended up running NATO as opposed to being hanged... KINDA SUS THAT, IMO... Guess what Stalin did to the nazis on his side of the wall tho?

Totalitarianism certainly describes the coin, but more needs to be done to identify, dissect & diagnose the complex tangled phenomenon it reflects.
