What I sense when I read the posts on various sites promulgating the pro-Israel narratives, is that these people revel in the chance to openly display hatred, racism and violence. In the rest of polite society you just can't do that and get away with it, but on this topic, it's welcomed.
I recall many years ago, during the anti-war movement protesting what the US government was doing in Vietnam, I was the only one who brought up this issue, and the reaction was exactly the same as those promoting the pro-Israel position then and now..
They recognized the government lied to the people on Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, COINTELPRO, and the like, but bring up Israel's suppression of Palestinian rights, and suddenly, whatever the government said about it was true, and anyway those Arabs were unworthy savages and so on.
It's good to no longer be alone on this. Perhaps the arc is bending towards justice, after all.
Hi Joy. Good point. I guess racists don't have societal permission to express those impulses, so they jump on situations like what's going on in Gaza to let them all out, and support the lies, even when at some level they know they're lies.
I have to believe they’re not . Its more propaganda & a shrinking group of true hateful believers in the gov narrative . Profiteers Those it directly Benefits ,dolts fools & Muslim haters .oh & those afraid of everything different ?
Why are Hamas terrorists? A: because they attacked Israel.
Why did Hamas attack Israel? A: because they are terrorists.
That of course is circular logic, but many think it a genuine argument and a winning one. They then go on to claim they are capable of critical thinking.
So many are swallowing them using the same mental/emotional/ideological mechanism you are using by claiming they are "lies" - they're just on the other side of the aisle, so to speak. We can infer that the Israeli Narrative is fishy and riddled with red flags, but do we have adequate evidence proving they are lies? Rather than claiming the Israeli Narrative is a pack of lies, I think it's better to insist on their supporters providing adequate evidence, and until they do, we reasonably withhold our support. The biggest red flag of all, of course, is the Western Mainstream (of which Israel is a part) pretending that there are no red flags. This was the same behavior I noticed with the 2020 US Election, and with the Covid Project.
1. The claim that there is adequate evidence, isn't the same as the useful presence and/or provision of adequate evidence.
2. Suggesting I look for it is shifting the burden.
3. If you know the truth verified by this adequate evidence that you claim exists, surely you could have provided it. Or did you lose it behind the chaise lounge...?
It's a red flag when a person doesn't acknowledge the various problems of information about complex events and responds as though there is no problem other than me not doing my research.
Such a pack of lies, it's hard to believe that so many are swallowing them.

Yes Diana and now it's going to get worse with Ukraine. The liars will be out in huge numbers as the propaganda wheel keeps turning!
And hopefully not too many more lives will be lost during the time it takes to craft an ending to the situation that NATO finds palatable.
They MUST believe they are "the good guys" or they can't live in this world. Been going on for decades...
It's the theme of so many movies and cartoons. It's been drilled into people in so many ways.
It's been drilled into American for decades.

I wish so many I know personally didn't believe this stuff, but I know more who don't.

There IS “adequate evidence “.
All one need do is look for it.
H, I have read SO MUCH on the subject and witnessed SO MANY videos I couldn’t possibly give you links to them.
But I can suggest several websites from which to start:
Mondoweiss
Al Jazeera
If Americans Knew
Electronic Intifada
Consortium News
Also please see Scott Ritter and Chris Hedges. I can’t do all your homework for you.

Really? How so?
If I can garnish information, I assume you can as well, but I suppose you’re too lazy to do so. I already provided you with pertinent websites.
Or perhaps you don’t WANT the truth?
Shoo, fly.
