Good question. The complete lack of moral strength and leadership indicates some essence of the aptly named hijackers is missing or twisted. Greed, money and lust for power make a poisonous combo. Things are truly grim, but I know there's a way to go before hitting the bottom of the pit.

David, my apologies. I agree, and posted that comment out of frustration. I live in a state surrounded by highly propagandized people who consider themselves quite intelligent. I too have been "aware" since the 70's but it seems those that were in that camp back then are no longer thinking critically.
