What a wonderful tribute, Caitlin, to a very great man, a very rare man, who somehow managed to block out the ever more drowning, delirious and desperate noise of our time well enough to hear the "small still voice" of Quaker conscience within, a man who, following directly in the footsteps of Martin Luther, could only justify his actions by averring, quite matter-of-factly; "here I stand, I cannot do otherwise," a man, much like our Julian Assange, who was so devoted to his inner calling to spread and defend the truth from the many tyrants who seek to hide and destroy it, that he was not afraid to take on the most powerful hyenas in government or to suffer the most severe consequences to himself in service to such a higher cause. -- R.I.P. Dan Ellsberg You have acquitted yourself admirably in your time here amongst us. Truly, you are a benefactor of the human race, and shall thus long be remembered as a shining example to us all.
