I'm on a thread where MEN are telling WOMEN what to do with their own bodies, all about how life is, and when it starts, and calling everyone that disagrees with them "idiots," even before anyone has responded... The idea that we should all form a continuum and make decisions about how women are to be allowed to live/behave/make choices tells me that you feel that somehow you have a say in that. You don't. Simple as that. This is about controlling women, nothing more. If there were more to it than that, we'd see how ALL unwanted children are well-cared for, loved and cherished, and don't go to bed hungry, don't live in a lousy, impoverished setting, don't get sold into sexual slavery, and so forth. Because it's mostly MEN that make the laws and run the govt, and so why do we see those things so much? Do all you guys complaining about abortion give a rat's backside once that child is born? I just don't see the evidence for that. It's about the act itself, abortion. And it's about the idea that women can have the same kind of sexual freedom that MEN have. Men can pretty much disappear after spreading their seed. Women are the ones who deal with all the repercussions. And then, of course, so do the kids, when they're forcibly carried and born. The point is, it's none of your business what someone else does with their own body, male, female, there is no difference in the right to autonomy.
