You can’t be a good talkshow liberal if you’re saying you want to exterminate every living organism in Gaza, but if you hem and haw about ancient unresolvable conflicts and how complicated it all is, you can maintain your vaguely progressivish self-image while still encouraging everyone to allow the western empire to continue backing an active genocide."
Malcolm X said much the same, as did MLK. For that matter, Fred Hampton was happy to make common cause with the confederate flag-waving white peckerwoods of the Young Patriot Party in the goal of international proletarian socialist revolution.
