I guess this is an adequate description of "reality" if one accepts the passive notion that there is no human agency, "reality" is totally subjective, and there is no possibility of changing reality.

But I would say that if reality is all subjective then changing it is merely a matter of dealing with your subjective self, and changing that. As some king said in some movie, surely madam, where the heart goes, the body has a right to follow. He of course meant nooky, but how about if he or I or you meant peace? Perhaps our bodies would be more peaceful if our hearts were.
I guess you missed my point, which was the opposite of changing individual hearts. For example, you want clean water? Then you need to understand and get involved in work like this (which I do every day):
