I think it is more important now, than before October 7, to be careful how we criticize people because there are so many times when speaking in support of Palestine or in opposition to what the State of Israel is doing that people lose their jobs or are wrongly accused of antisemitism. I am not saying this to protect people who call out undue influence of the Israel lobby on American foreign policy. I am saying this to make sure that we continue to criticize the State of Israel and the Israel Lobby, and don't blanket criticize all Jews. I want us to avoid being accused of antisemitism in the hope that eventually those who need to see will see that the State of Israel and the Israel Lobby are responsible for a lot of deaths, pain and suffering.
