Which is what Jordan Peterson says when he wants to exercise control over what other people think and say, and it's probably what I'm doing as well:)

Or is there a different explanation for why we say the things we do?

The difference between abuse and care is an interpretive construct. It is nothing more than how we demand our victims interpret our actions upon them.

I agree with you on things being constructs and so on and so forth. However, I take issue with your claim. As a human who exercises individual sovereignty I choose not to victimize people. In the off chance I do hurt someone in some way I immediately remedy the situation. That’s the biggest problem with collectivism, you lose sight of your self!
