Additionally I see these video games as a big part of the programming. Even the military has produced them. For kids to become numb to the horrors of war and enjoy it is as far down the rabbit hole you can go!
Good spotting that...setting them up to be cannon fodder by instilling this romanticizing conflict is no different than the bread and circuses of the colosseum. Sports is the modern equivalent,, they used to have military drills at halve time, if anything was more blatant I don't know of it.

That part is ignored to use the idea of survival of the fittest and dog eat dog to lend itself to the idea we must always be in perpetual war for survival.. The hierarchy fallacy is very deeply ingrained into the human psych and system are set up to make that a realty as a proof. Its all wrong. Even John Nash demonstrated the opposite in contrast to his "fuck you buddy" idea and scenario.
