The Australian public appear to have forgotten the pain and subsequent generational trauma they experienced following the US empire into Vietnam. The US plan is becoming ever clearer: to maintain domestic political support, sacrifice the sons and daughters of the working class of other countries to prosecute your imperial ambitions. I trust the Australian political elites of fighting age will be leading from the front as well as volunteering their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces for military duty. I shall not be holding my breath.
