A beloved member of my family, at the beginning of Russia’s SMO in Feb. 2022, was all pro Zelensky and said Putin was like Hitler and was trying to move westward to take other European countries and well, you get my point. She bought into the whole Russia gate nonsense, seems to believe today’s Russia is like the old USSR or close to it and didn’t seem to know about the Maidan Coup of 2014 in which our government/CIA was involved, when I was explaining to her that Putin never said he wanted to take part or all of Europe. She watches MSNBC and this is the type of propaganda that news outlet, along with FOX News, CNN(even worse), ABC etc. puts out,so this explains a lot of things. Yet, she talks about civil rights, George Floyd(in the past), transgender rights, gay rights, in which I’m for all people to have equal rights, but to be for all these things and yet when it comes to Russia one puts the brakes on and believes that Russia should be sanctioned, Putin is evil, and don’t drink any Russian vodka, only American, btw, all b/c Russia has real concerns about its security due to NATO expansion and the mistreatment of ethnic Russians in the Donbas, it decides that’s enough, no more, and moves in to Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022 to defend those ethnic Russians and stop more NATO expansion(said red line was Ukraine becoming part of NATO which U.S. and its allies kept pushing). The point is liberals talk a good game, but always have an agenda/narrative. That’s the Democratic Party for you(Republicans are no better imho). Jill Stein is looking better and better as November 2024 gets closer.
