Well said, John.

I note that Uyghur islamic terror was also a very well organised homegrown movement in Xinjiang, before the Americans became involved.

It's astonishing how ignorant / propagandists people are about Uyghur islamic terrorism not just inside, but outside China as well.

Between 2007 - 2014 they were the most extreme and violent islamic terror group on the planet. Just my opinion but they were worse than ISIS - not just in terms of radicalism/ideology, but in their killing methods (eg their attack in Kunming in 2013).

China was the epicentre of their activity, and their HQ was Xinjiang. Their attacks made it to Beijing. People can call the Chinese response whatever they want, I don't really care, but they dealt with this internal threat very effectively.

BTW, Islam is still a very popular religion in China (esp Xianjiang), as is Orthodox Christianity (Harbin) and other religions. Again, people need to go to China to understand how many lies the Americans have been telling about China, the Chinese and their system.
