Please note: I have lifelong Jewish friends, who themselves are anti-Zionist. I said nothing about Jews. Judaism is a religion of peace, By even mentioning it in response to me, you are demonstrating your undifferentiated cognition. Wake up. I'm telling you the population of Israel -- ISRAEL, not world Judaism or any other population of humans -- demonstrates characteristics of group sociopathy, and biological inbreeding supports that assertion (I have the creds to assert this).

As such, they are Sub-humans in my taxonomy. Welcome to your less-informed opinion.

"Zionism is antithetical to Judaism", Rabbi Dovid Weiss, NYC. And many other scholars of Judaism.

Why is no one covering this? Because it's inconvenient to differentiate anti-Zionist, pro-Palestinian Jews from the sociopaths. Ruins the antisemitism tropes.

Thank you, Chang. It astounds me that this point still needs such reinforcement at this late date in the horror show.

Yes, the indoctrination has been deep and persistent - over many generations. Too many lazy thinkers that can't be bothered enough to actually apply the brain they've been given.

With tropes like “inbred vermin” and how you would enjoy killing all of them -the Israeli Jewish population, it certainly doesn’t sound good. Are you for killing all Americans too for the crimes of the America empire that many Americans supported?

If we are committed to saving the people of Gaza, how about organizing to demand that our own governments, especially the US government, stop arming them?

Ann Menasche, do you understand the DIFFERENCE between 'expressing outrage and disgust verbally' versus 'actually doing bad deeds (like the Israeli Zionists have been doing in Palestine)'?

Here you are lecturing others on this substack about their 'expressive use of language' that you disagree with. Where is your outrage at the REAL GENOCIDE happening right now?

Where are your words of condemnation for Israel AND Zionists (all over the world) and ALL supporters of Israel?

I haven't seen you before on Caitlin's substack saying anything about the actions of Israeli Zionists. And now here you are dishing out your 'moral superiority' and 'correct and acceptable forms of verbal outrage'?

Maybe you need to re-evaluate your perspective in the context of current world events?

I have marched and protested the genocide in Gaza multiple times. I have written here previously and agree with most of what Caitlin has to say. However, this kind of verbiage that commenters are expressing may make them feel good psychologically but is harmful to building the movement to stop US arming and support of Israel. And that’s my priority.

Oh, so this verbiage is harmful and not the ACTUAL KILLING of Palestinians? Ok, understood.

Oh, so expressing verbal outrage out of a psychological need to remain sane in an insane period of history is 'harmful to building a movement..." Really?

No, what is harmful is people like YOU tone-policing the supporters of Palestine because 'you are offended by their use of language'.

What is HARMFUL is people like you that choose to focus so much of your time and energy on lecturing people on 'moral superiority' instead of spending that SAME energy on lecturing Zionists (of all stripes) and Israelis.

I could go on for a while on the number of ways your attitude (and priorities) are mistaken and misplaced, but what's the point? From your comments here you've made it abundantly clear that it is the 'tone and expression of pro-Palestine supporters' that bothers you MORE than anything else.

Sure, rationalize and justify and spin narratives and perform whatever mental gymnastics you need to to convince people here otherwise.

enough of the ad-hominems, back to the topic.

My priorities are to stop the ongoing genocidal killing in Gaza and the oppression, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid under which Palestinians suffer. My priorities are to build a movement opposing that and not just speaking to those already converted and active. My priorities are NOT to give myself a psychological boost in the current insanity and horror by saying that all Israelis should be killed.

Movements exist. One is called Code Pink. I am almost certain that you have seen video of Medea Benjamin, one of the most courageous Americans around, assailing congressmen across the duopoly -- and how they treat her, rudely and dismissively. The political system is hopelessly corrupt. What do movements propose to move? Is the question. Always.

So then why not simply IGNORE such comments if it offends you? There are many people making much worse (and vulgar and disparaging) comments on the internet all the time - I ignore most of such comments.

But no, instead you think you are making A DIFFERENCE by tone-policing supporters of Palestine (regardless of their emotional needs or methods of expression) instead of FOCUSING on the Zionists that are the REAL PROBLEM.

Keep working on your mental gymnastics...

YOU must be the most stupid person who ever made a comment on here.

YOUR fucking Govt. is owned by Zionists.

YOUR Govt. is owned by Zionists.

What are YOU going to do about this?

With your guns in 30% of households what are you doing to address this fucking Empire.

US are cowards.

You kill kids in schools/you disrupt your own Nation with guns but you don't turn your guns on the Government.

COWARDS

My fucking Govt is owned by huge billionnaire corporations including military contractors who make a killing on war and empire. The Israeli lobby is small potatoes in comparison. Israel would be dropped in a heartbeat if it didn’t serve as a bulwark of US & western imperialist interests in the middle east. We need to build a strong united movement for economic and social justice and for peace in every sector of society (including the military) before we can create revolutionary change, especially the kind worth fighting for. . A handful of folks turning guns on the government, will be outgunned and will accomplish nothing but alienating people from the cause.

I partially agree. BUT we in the West (NOT USA) have been TOLD many times that if the US Govet. gets 'over zealous' the people will come out!

Ha.

Watched too many John Wayne movies.

No - it’s not humane but part of the capabity of humans of every nationality, religion & ethnic group. Yes, those responsible for this latest genocide should be tried & brought to justice, especially those who made the decisions.
