I heard the same smear on the radio show "Ba ground Briefing" by host Ian masters the other day The ‘Socialism of Fools’ of the ‘Anti-Imperialist Left’
I was stunned, because KPFA is a Pacifica Network station out of Berkeley, a long left oriented network. I don't know the author and professor he interviewed.
Mr. Masters is a huge pro Ukraine warmonger as well. So they've infiltrated "the left".
I think the claim was that Code Pink dramatically reversed its positions on China regarding human rights after they received the funding - if true, Code Pink does need to explain and rebut that.
The Pacifica Foundation and its unusually powerful broadcast assets (KPFA-FM 94.1 is licensed for 50kW, IIRC) have amplified the antiwar movement and many other dissident interests within their broadcast areas over the latter half of the 20th century. It is, or in an emergency could become, an important coordination good for dissidents, and therefore important for the state to capture.
