The reason I'm surprised that he not only thought this was a good idea but actually went and stated it to everyone in those terms is because if he's trying to be different from the jerkoffs who say that then he shouldn't repeat their statement verbatim. Also, if he's only *pretending* to be different from those jerkoffs then he *still* shouldn't repeat what they say verbatim, because when he does that it makes the mask slip or maybe fall off altogether.
