You stated: "there's really no racism. Or, rather, there is, of course, but it is an instance of the more general malady, which is bullying. " As "proof" you say it is bullying, because it happens in mono-racial societies. You can't have "racism" without "race". I know Chinese and Arabs that don't like Negroes because they perceive them as violent. That has nothing to do with bullying. I have met American Indians and Blacks that openly admit they don't like "Whites" because of perceived wrongdoings of long ago. That has nothing to do with bullying. Many people of all races, don't like Germans because of WWII. That has nothing to do with bullying. You can't make people like each other. There are people who dislike and avoid others solely because of their race". That only becomes a problem if they cause harm through violence, economic, or other means. Of those that do dislike people solely because of their race, the number who actually act out is relatively small. I agree that there are bullies and violent thugs in all races, but what racism is considered to be is much more than just bullying. Even Mohammed Ali understood that most people, given a choice, prefer to be with people like themselves, bullies or otherwise.
